I'm gonna go with this Rosewill I think. Before I order, I'm gonna go brush my teeth and poop. Dissenters have ten minutes. If anyone has a reason why the Cap'n should not buy said power supply, speak now or go to hell.
Couldnt find any Thermaltakes with the necessary currents in my price range.
So, if nobody has any objections, I think I will go with this one. Of course, I'll wait for your thoughts.

Getting there?
*EDIT:* Thanks Tweed, but that would blow my budget for BOTH my PSU and RAM...
Hey again, as part of my upgrades, I'm going to be needing a new power supply, wanted to know if this PSU would cut it.

Essentially, I'll be running P4 at 2.8gigs, ASUS p4p800 mobo, two hard drives, 1 dvd burner, 1...
Actually, just thought of something. IF I decided to go with buying three sticks of the 512 ram now, would I be slowing my system down in any way, running with four channels? Is doing this a wise decision?
Well, to make a long story short, I'm wanting this computer to alst two years, since I decided not to go with a full upgrade to a PCI express mobo, and hence will be using a 6800 series graphics card, I will be doing a complete new build at that point. But until then, I dont want to upgrade...
Hey all, I currently have 512 pc3200 ram, and obviously I'm looking for more now. Ideally, I'd like to go two gigs, but the price is a little steep, so lets rule that out for now. Basically, I have the following options, unless I'm missing something.
A: Get just another 512 stick, run it in...
At all? I find that hard to believe. Seems more like a marketing push for the 7800, which which also be lower end by the time the new engine is out.
I may be confused but I'm not stupid. My reasoning is that the 7800 seems like overkill for todays games, and yet will still be lower end for...
But is the 6800gt still a good choice? I am a pretty serious gamer, and I want to be able to at least run UT2007, at least my goal is to have a card that is effective up until that point.
I'm in pain over here, had just as much of my 9600xt as I can take, and I was planning on upgrading to a 6800gt, but the release of the 7800 complicates things. I want a good performer to last me about 2 years, but money is an issue, as I'm entering college next year. Also, I only have AGP, and...
I'm having quite the problem with my joystick and flying, as x axis seems to be inverted (when I move the joystick to the left, I roll right) Obviously this makes flying impossible. The joystick is calibrated correctly in windows, and I cannot find a solution to this. Any help?
Hey all, problem here. I'm supposed to turn out a card design for my little brothers birthday party by tomorrow, but lo and behold, service pack 2 basically killed picture it! publishing 2001 from working. I know its old software but I cant afford anything newer.
So any ideas for a free trial...
I swear by Ulead Mediastudio Pro (I have 6.5, 7 is out now). Its great, and I've never come across something I couldnt do in a movie. (My friends and I do this as a hobby)
It's also much cheaper. And you can download a 30-day free trial, to see if you like it or if you need something urgently...
