...do i sense a dissapointment there?
That g-man was the most beautiful 3d-rendered face i had ever seen (except for Alyx' and no i am not gay). if that's what it's gonna look like in realtime while playing, you won't hear me complain (and with that 9800pro of yours you can turn up anisotropic...
i'll believe anything when i see it ;)
So no speculating for me until september 13th.
btw... gf2gts still here... buying me a 9900 pro at the end of this year when/if it comes out... not that ppl care much :P
i thought that cs:cz included hl2 media..... perhaps that's why they could have set the size it should be... about 700 mb to fit on 1 cd. or maybe 800mb on a 90 min cdr
i remember one thing....
in half-life 1, when you just exited the train and entered black mesa, the security guard from behind the desk starts talking to you "i had a bunch of messages for you blabla", if, on the other hand, you push the alarm button next to him, the alarm would go off, he'd...
Damn.... another "ATI vs NVIDIA" topic.... forums all over the world seem infected by this plague :cheese:
People... don't flame eachother, don't argue.... just wait and see what happens.
I've heard somewhere both ATI and NVIDIA will have a hole new line of graphics cards ready by the end...
i'd love it if some developers would join forces and release a double-dvd package including one major game that's kinda like opposing force, blue shift + half-life tied together, only with the HL2 engine.
So like... you have 1 basic storyline... and every few levels you switch to another...
I don't think they'll postpone HL2's release.... they said "...PC version will ship September 30th" and i believe them :) you don't give an exact date if youre not sure of it. Besides, they've long finished HL2 and have been busy for a LONG time allready with playtesting, so my faith of a steady...
counterstrike's not my favourite online game... maybe in a few months when CS based on the HL2 enige comes out.... it might be ;) btw CS: CZ will suck i'm afraid :( based on HL1 technology and only retail versions getting high-polygon models.... damn that sucks.
too bad sandra doesn't solve my sound problem... it may be an onboard one but is has 6.1 support so i like it but i don't get it why it crackles so much and gives too fast sounds in tomb raide AOD (ok my guess the last one's about sampling rates but there's no way to change it)
When i first played half-life it was on my 300mhz amd k6... it had a nice 4mb voodoo1 card to play hl on, and so i began...
Remember a part in the tram when the female is talking through the speakers and you get to a point that some huge doors close behind you, you stand still for a moment and...
yeah but isn't it like 'the last thing' you'd expect? and also a big surprise to all half-life fans if it were possible? I mean it's just a big wild crazy guess of mine but somehow somewhere a little corner of my brain tells me it might be something.
ok... well i know this is very not-nice of me... but i too have a little problem which i, in NO way, can seem to fix (btw qckbeam good luck with your system!)
I recently bought an Asus A7N8X motherboard r2.0 (based on Nvidia's Nforce² chipset) along with a 2600+ athlon xp processor and 1024mb...
First of all, i do believe it has a message, because in another post in the 'official' thread Gabe replied to an e-mail "it's there for a reason"
Now i'm thinking about it.... all that stuff mentioned... schizofrenia... amnezia... 'G'-man....
THE G-MAN IS ACTUALLY AN OLDER GORDON FREEMAN...
