Guys guys, take a breath, it seems to me that Valve was on somewhat of a crunchtime when they had to release these. Personally I don't think these look too impressive. I wouldn't base the final graphics on these as it does appear that the sky and some other elements might be postwork.

or how about a horse racing mod that would actually be FUN to play. You would have to jump hedges and all but as soon as a hoof nicks a hedge or rail or anything your horse would ragdoll to the ground and then you would wait with your speargun for the next rider to come along so you could steal...

Yeah the awsome thing about turrets is that they are virtually ammo infinite and act as a firing shield if you walk up behind one and pick it up with the grav gun. I took only 1/4th of the shots I would have recieved if I had not been holding up the turret in front of me.
