I don't know why noone noticed yet, but if you look
REALLY close to the sky at the end of the E3 Coastline Bink,
you can actually see the sky moving.
Only the white clouds move, it's hard to see because
the static skybox and the moving clouds are the same color.
It's hard to see, look...
They don't plan anything special there, you can simply burn the Steam Cache Files (*.gcf) onto a disc. I guess the problem will be that there's only one huge cache file, so that you would have to burn it onto a DVD :|
They've said that at release HL2 won't support ps3.0,
but they will update the game with higher res textures
and other features over time. They also confirmed that
they plan to use ps3.0 in the future.

Gabe Newell mentioned that HL2 won't take any advantage of a system with more than one processor. He said that it would "be a pain" to implement and there would be no significant performance boost.
1. Ok, HL2 MP will be Steam only, but how does it work?
Will I have to leave the SP part (which I opened up by
a simple shortcut), open up Steam and start HL2 MP
from there? Or is Steam fully integrated into HL2, so
that I can join a game server from inside of the game
without opening up...
To start the discussion, it would be nice if it is the same demo from E3 but with the recent development stages. So that we see what they made with the crowbar or what differences / improvements there are with the maps :dork:

I didn't actually know it for sure, i thought i read it in some mail. And yes i know that they finished the engine in september 2002.
watched the movie again.. the tire comes from the car, just look at it there are tires on both sides.
Perhaps I can see it better because I have a high-res version from a German magazine (Gamestar).
