I dont think its actually from HL1, its probably a generic sound effect thats used in some songs-- ive heard the same exact audio file in a ton of movies/commercials.
weird, theres actually other people who have the same thing as me D:
every day, constantly theres a ringing in my ear. But its only noticable in a silent room, when there are other sound around, i cant hear the ringing
Well, the title pretty much explains what the problem is... but
After playing FEAR for about 5-10 minutes (multiplayer or singleplayer) i suddenly get hit by this horrible framerate lag.
It didn't start doing this until i downloaded the 1.08 Patch (Retail) :|
hm, i remember while pre-loading ep1, i looked through the gcf files and i saw some gman-speech files that were never in the game, i can only remember one named "gman-laugh"
there were about 9 files, but the laugh one is the only one i remember seeing ;p
it was done to give you an extra 5 minutes of gameplay, and yeah. if they just got on the train with barney, alot of trouble would have been avoided, they would have completely escaped the citadel blast, and gotten away before the strider even got there
yeah, kuma switched to source, however they do a extremely poor job of it on the source engine. they should go back to a different engine beside the source engine...
if you dont believe me then look at this video.

the single player portion...
Yeah, but its used kinda like ripent.
and @ the Hl1 enemies question:
some of the Hl1 enemies are in, but not many of the maps actually have them. Were still fixing them up a bit cause they are a little bit buggy
