well, if you have your eyes set on an LCD than lcd you should buy. Theres many things that go into LCD and CRT's monitors. If its just for gaming than maybe a NEC/Mis 17in with a contrast of 300-400-450/1. Those with a higher contrast ratio will give you a better picture. Its going to run...

well, unless you have a m/b with an external probe then i would say no. But some cases now-a-days have them and led dials on front. But my nexus from Vantec works fine with m/bm5.

depends on were the probe is and if its even reading the natural ambiance of the case... i think not. Mines at 33-35 and well who knows.. my thoughts are more on my m/b,cpu,mos rather than the box it goes in..
