because people still flee to them even though they suck the big one.
I can't imagine devoting an entire week of my life to being the first person to get the iphone. Think of all the other shit you could be doing in that time...crazy.
Yes. we must not forget how extravagant the 80's were, lol.
I know...i mentioned that two posts above urs :D
You like whatcha like....i guess
If a movie of the same quality came out under a different title i doubt you would be praising it so much. Seems like Nostalgia> Quality in this case.
I don't know exactly who u are responding to, because nobody even mentioned TF's critical response( which has been pretty positive actually). I'm having a hard time believing that a movie that's target audience are 15 year olds and is directed by Micheal Bay( im sorry, he's a hack) has the...
I wouldn't say so, sure, they are going to market the hell out of it, no doubt. But, to say that it's sole purpose is to sell toys is a little far fetched imo, considering that 99 percent of people who see this movie won't give a shit( about toys) either way. Plus, i havn't seen a single...
Die hard 4-7.5/10, this movie had everything going against it but it somehow came out right..a worthy addition to the original trilogy. But, i will say that it is one of the worst directed movies ive EVER seen, every ****ing shot starts out behind a wall or a monitor or a desk chair etc and then...
Haha, i just reread my post..the last few sentences are pretty incoherent..w/e:)
it gets better, 3 is definitely the worst of the three, 4 is really good and 5 is back up the quality of the first 2( seasons), save one side story.:)
This'll sound pretty weird but, during this episode of six feet under( i think it was the first ep of season 5), Nate is super stressed about his recently diseased wife, so he has a smoke and goes for a run. He runs into this still shot, looking depressed, confused etc and then runs into the...
It's less then 50percent on rottentomatoes. I didn't think Die Harder was as good as the first/third..but was decent in its own regard. Definitely worthy of the trilogy.
they just added like 15 reviews and it's now at 78 percent, I'm actually excited now...i really thought this was gonna...
I guess, it;s just that such reviews are usually reserved for masterpieces( i am very flexible with this term, IE i think Army of Darkness is a masterpiece lol). There's no reason to rate something that you just enjoyed 10/10...especially if it's far from your favorite films.
I wouldn't say it sucked...but it definitely doesn't deserve the near universal praise it's getting from audiences. The Rate Last Movie thread is littered with 10/10 reviews for 300....why? who the **** knows? It was a cool action movie with impressive special effects...but not a landmark film...
