Right. Thanks for the info. For me, that is new.
As far as saving space goes, this is what I have done so far to keep HDD managed.
In Win7, there are 9 things that will consume/reserve large amount of space, that I know so far:
A) AppData.
B) Winsxs.
C) SysWOW64.
D) System32.
E) Win...
Wha! Wha! Whaaat!
Come again. What does Gnome got to do with Window 7? The man is complaining because his C drive space gets shrinking though he doesn't install new software.
Man! I'm learning new stuff everyday.
PimPin, unless you're having a problem, I would leave BIOS alone.
But if you must: DL Active ISO burner here, and install it. (Assuming you already DL and saved BIOS, if not, do so) Get a blank CD and create boot-able CD using Active ISO. Reboot system and select to boot from CD in the BIOS...
I Know you Somniloquy "Death To America" Vegeta.
It doesn't set itself to auto-backup; it is a user-selected. If you did not turn System backup on, then it is probably turned off. DL that software (Treesize) and see what is going on with HDD.
Or, to double-check, press: Star, Control Panel...
lol OK. Sarcasm Ellert!!!
DL Treesize (Freeware) Google it first then DL it from Cnet (Others may not be legitimate sites) install, launch and see folders that consume most space.
What I like to share with you now is that: If you right-click Windows folder your OS takes about 14-15GB of space...
lol. Yeah man, it has been three years and three OS, and so far I'm blessed with this setup. So far, no hardware has gone kaput, I haven't upgraded anything (Except adding couple of 4GB memory sticks, when I switched from 32 to 64.) It plays anything I throw at it, at max, well... Except Crysis...
Not bad for a three years old system eh? Get load of that 8800GTX 7.2 is not bad, I thought they be long dead by now.
The result though is not pretty much accurate, and HDDs are your weakest link of your system... Always!
Good Luck.
Good, Cuz, I was gonna call the cops on ya if you didn't.
Remember this: After computer reboots, you must log into BIOS and switch from CD, DVD, USB, Etc, to HDD, otherwise installation will restart all over again.
I don't care who you are, but that is ****ing funny. :bounce:
OK, I'm serious now. Right-click folder where your precious files are, click "Share with" and choose "Nobody" assuming that you either using Vista, or 7.
Good Luck.
LoL.. Aye, Aye Captain, Whatever gets your freak on.
Probably coming from the sound card.
I remember when Audigy Platinum first came out, and I used to DJ with AtomixMP3, that clap, clap used come out every now and then, and with those 500w self-powered stage speakers, I could hear...
