Battlefield .. is that 64 players maximum ? :p don't think source can handle this so it'll never be better I think. And I don't think it's a great thing to do since there is battlefield already :) So unless you have an original idea for a battlefield 1942 lookalike your mod would be unneeded :s
I think it's a model actually ... I even think that's what they said in the E3 demo :s But you'll propably have to set bending points for the model so source knows how hard it can bend and some material properties. I just can't believe it's brush based.
what about the crowbar in the funny looking window ? I know it's an obvious one but you people didn't mention it :s (didn't read the whole threat lol :p)

base it on gundam seed rather then gundam wing .. since they have special abbilities like cloacking and such .. also very different type of wanzers so you guys might want to check that out .. also gundam wing is old so :s not so good. otherwise great idea but keep in mind that it's HL2 engine...
This mod will never work .. for several reasons ... not the netcode .. I believe that's possible .. but your server won't be able to handle all the tasks .. unless you work with multiple servers and that's only possible with modiefying the Dedicated Server .. so there will only be a few servers...
ok i'd like to join your team .. I don't know a lot about coding but i have PHP/Pascal/Visual basic and Java experience .. i'll try to learn the SDK as FAST as possible .. I'l also prepared to do a PHP site for your team that is easily upgradable and such. fe : news, screenshots .. stuff like...
we have 2 coders already .. me and iko0n lol :) Offcourse i have 0 c++ experience but i know Java / Visual basic / pascal / php .. so adjusting to this new language won't be a problem .. and iko0n wordkew with the HL SDK before so i guess it won't be a problem. Just a little adapting lol. So...
lol i'd propably make a huge brick hanging on a rope so that if i shoot the rope it'll fall on a bunch of models lol :p can't wait to see the engines variety .. a little testing the water too and stuff .. looks REALY good .. and propably a huge wooden map lol :p sounds cool.
not if they are given specific triggers and variables from the server .. that way they'll do the same thing and not causing lag .. believe me .. we'll figure something out ... anything is possible if its coded.
