You're not standing in her way are you? go back to the last quick save or auto save and play through again. Maybe with the level reloaded the Ai will work this time.
don't try and rush the ai by pushing them or getting into their way. If it still happens send an e-mail to Valve. You prolly...
Do you see that platform on the guide line? You need to move that. That way you can jump onto it then onto the other roof you see on picture.
You can see the switch on the picture in the middle left. Get into that building. It's on that balcony.
hope I help. I am trying to help people...
AHHH I was stuck here too. You have to press the use button on those human cargo cages. Pick the right one though. One rail goes to the thing that zaps people. The other goes off on this crazy scripted sequence.
Hope this helps
-We Don't Go to Ravenholme: The chain-link fence which blasts you backwards if you touch it, due to some kind of electric charge which is making a corpse pinned to the fence twitch violently. How am I supposed to get up the ladder without being electrocuted?
There is a switch in a nearby...
This game is sure challenging peoples creativity. I know how you feel. I have done stupid things too.
I forget how powerfull the manipulator is or that magnitism or gravity exist. There are lots of cool bridge building puzzles and power cords that make you go "OOOOHHHH dur. cool!"
Why are all the people who fix the audio problem not explaining exactly how they do it!
You would be helping hundred if not thousands of people play a game they love. Are you daft? Help the people.
I understand that Valve is trying to play down the severity of this bug but it's kind of rude to say it only happens to a small number of users!
"A small number of Half-Life 2 customers have been experiencing problems while playing the game, and we have traced these issues to corrupt Steam...
I knew the steam idea was dumb but then again all you had to do before was get a cd-key and you could play the game. So it's not much more of a deterant than usual.
I think I can refine my thoughts. The game is Gorden the weapon. He is only a hero in the sense that he's in the right place at the right time. Breen is right. He isn't a super duper hero. Just the guy that fits. Like chess every peice has the potential to make it to the end and be the most...
I found the story bewildering. The game is so deverse and open in most places that it really tests your perception and creativity. I like the story because it's weird. It's flawed and yet compelling.
Who else saw the g-man as a dot like figure in the distance? He was in the game but hidden...
Well. It's really all in Valves hands. It must suck to be them right now. More and more people realise that this is happening to all of them. I know it's not a FPS problem that makes my game stutter.
It looks so much like lag from online play. I just thought it was my computer being a little...
Is that a universal setting that should work for everyone or would that only work for you? I am sure you are happy but I would like to see someone else say that it worked for them too.
I want to add my name to the list just to make Valve realise how huge this problem is. I never really took the time to figure out why it might be stuttering but I hope they fix it.
HOW THE HELL DID THIS GET PAST QUALITY ASSURANCE
Well I thought you meant that the game stutters almost all the time. but I guess the game is stuttering during auto saves.
Which really sucks. Is there a way to turn off auto saving? What's odd is that it's didn't used to stutter for a long time. Now it it's stuttering. I also stutter and...
Just use zonealarm to stop HL2. Your system will be safer and you will be able to play the game offline which I think will improve performance.
I remember playing HL online and noting stuttering like it was loading weird. That's just my opinion and is completly un-factual. If you open play...
I have dsl and I don't want to turn off my friggen dsl modem every time I want to play HL2 offline. Anyone know how to make sure HL2 works offline all the time! Like a software setting?
If not I think I will be e-mailing Valve and strongly suggesting an alternitive.
I have the same graphics card and I tried to do the same thing and I don't think it makes it better either. It's odd. I also wonder if the grapics settings for HL2 are messed. I have a lot of the things cranked and yet it still runs fine for the most part? The game doesn't look a lot better...
That's a lot of tweaking how bad was your stuttering? I Have a 1.8 gig & Nvidia ti4200 I experience some stutter. It almost feels like a harddrive thing. Like it's trying to load stuff everynow and then. But then again I have a lot of the settings turned up to high and it's running in 1024x768...
