Assuming there are 5 presses each making CDs at a rate of 1 CD / 5 seconds, 24/7, in 5 days they can make a combined total of 432,000. That's nearly half a million, and I'm sure they have more than 5 (faster) presses, so just be optimistic.
MY FRIENDS UNCLES BROTHERS DOGS SISTERS AUNTS STEPDADS MOTHERS FATHERS LONG LOST FRIENDS BROTHERS PET MONKEYS DAD FRIENDS UNCLE SAID THAT HL2 IS DELAYED AND GABE IS WRONG
We've seen it (http://www.omlette.net/countdown14.jpg), but now that I think about it... perhaps it is the administrator? That would explain why the Gman sounds scared when you decline the job offer, and what Ninalith is saying (for he is not human, you he awaits), etc.
Valve is keeping HL2 tighter than an air-sealed biohazard containment facility. Just because some moronic asshole hasn't stolen a copy doesn't mean it's going to be delayed.
Okay, this thing is 3 pages long, and I don't want to type it all (nor do I want to risk getting sued), so heres a few short excerpts from the rest:
That's about all I felt was worth looking at, but it's a breath of fresh (yet old) information about TF2 / HL2... interesting to see they had...
I went and dug this up from the 2nd to last issue of PCXL, a no longer existant PC magazine. From the last 2 issues (the ones that I own), I browsed through them looking for this TF2 preview for you guys. I saw a Halo preview, a Duke Nukem forever preview, a Heat.net ad, a dailyradar.com ad...
I watched the video over again, you're right, it looks a lot different. I also noticed, however, that after the hyrda pwns the guy, when the tentacles come back up, if you look closely you can see they open on the end, as if they were mouths of some such.
It would shoot a bubble per se and surround the enemy, then it fills with water and they drown. It sounded badass, I was just wondering if it could be done... If so, I think I'll teach myself and try to make it one day. :D
Yea... I said something like that yesterday and as soon as I said it some guy was like
"OMGWTFLOLWTf HL2 IS COMING IN NOVEMBER BECAUSE THE STORES SAID!!!!!"
I gave up trying to convince him otherwise, come 9/30 I'll be holding a fresh copy of it in my hands.
So that means Valve would be pretty confident on Steam holding the load of the millions of people who play HL every day. HL2 release, anyone? I don't know if this went over just my head, because it just "clicked". Sorry if it's painfully obvious.
