i myself have just done my first skin 2 :) (look on other thread) and i know it is quite hard for the first time, i think it looks great for a first skin the only thing i would say if i had to is that maybe its abit low-res/stretched? but well done it look nice :D

i got the unreal tournament skinning 1 from www.3dbuzz.com helps alot :D i also used texporter, its a great tool. hope this helps :afro:

yes i know what u mean random.hero but it was unwrapping the UV's that i wanted teach myself and i think i did it quite well :) btw here is a nother pic/view:

the blade looks nice but the bit above the handle (the hand guard?) needs quite abit of work but i like it :)

Hi all been modelling for about a month and half now and thought it is time to try and skin something.. so here we go, it is a M83 and i know that there r things on it that do not match it's real life counterpart but it was only done quickly and its the skin i wanted to spend time on :) tell me...

erm is this a joke? it looks 2D... like something done in mspaint. If it really is 3D i would say that it is below average even for a first model, i have posted a pic of my first model.... u need to read more tutorials etc...
