the 9200 would be better. but IMO, they both suck, but since its for a low-budget computer i can see the decision on it. but i think a ti4600 would be faster than a 5200/9200, it just wont have dx9. its a dx8.1 card
good stuff, what was your previous computer cause that seems like it would be a nice upgrade :D
i doubt that system cost 5000, unless it was a alienware heh.
if it's true, that's a huge mess up. hope anandtech fixes those graphs accordingly if true.
but i honestly cant see the AA difference between these two shots...can you?
ati...
you have your opinion and you are entitled to it
THEY USED 2 CUSTOM DEMOS!....did you not see that part? big or small performance increase either way, you cant displace the fact that they didnt use ALL of nvidia's demos for their test. i dont see how you can call them biased for trying to do...
guinny, no offence, but every thread where you see nvidia having some kind of positive measure, you always have to come with some statement like "oh it gets to the point where its just too much" or theres "no big deal" about it.
please, give it up. you make it hard for me not to call you a...
yeah your probally right on that.
umm.. i think the GT is avaliable, some people already have them around forums and stuff. but as of aquiring them, it will probally be hard finding a store with them instock because with both nvidia and ati cards, when they hit a store in little supply, they...
i cant say i like HardOCP's review. and x800 matching/beating a 6800U when everybody else shows a GT beating a pro. just too shady IMO. but if you like em so be it. i cant force you not to like them, but you should take this into thought.
and...
btw, [H]ard|OCP used FRAPS. if that means...
yeah they are not too bad. but ive heard bad stories about their customer support heh. but they have a lifetime warranty as long as the card is still in production so PNY isnt too terrible. :)

yeah i would rather of had a BFG deal or even a x800 deal heh, but a deal like this is kinda hard to pass up heh. getting a 6800U for less than 9800xt's are going for on newegg. i might just go in tommorrow just as the doors open and get one. maybe keep it or sell it. ;)
dunno if you guys knew this but compusa has had a ad saying "30% off all PNY cards"
mainly to get rid of their old cards. but for the 6800U you can save a shitload.
@ 30% off.
6800U @ 500usd = 350usd (before tax)
6800GT @ 400usd = 280usd (before tax)
thats more than a bargin ;) thing...
