Tools>Options>Build Programs>"Place compiled maps in this directory before running the game:"
Should auto copy your map to the right folder.
Just make sure you have the right configuration selected (something I missed for a while)
I have no difference in mouse sensitivity.
If you need a quick fix to get your sensitivity below 1, lower the values of m_yaw (horizontal sens) and m_pitch (vertical sens).
Oh and personally I hate mouse acceleration :p

I will save most comments until I can play it, cant get a feel for the layout in those screens.
However it doesnt look like there is much to play about with the manipulator. I tend to overclutter things myself but I would add some more physic props too fuel manipulator...

I cant help you much, but check the soundscape trigger in the sample map, dm_lockdown to see how valve have done it. You could always be lazy and copy paste it into your map and just change the sounds. There should be a wind sound in there, cant remember the list.

Thanks for the great crits chriscanadian. Nice of you to take some time to document the bugs, I have tried to fix all of them, but some remain unfixed such as the cars. At the moment I am creating a 3D skybox so should have a nearly finished version ready soon :)

I agree, the skybox will be the next thing on my list. Just been confused as to how its going to be done well content wise. I think I'll load up a canal map in HL2 and see how Valve pulled them off.

If so, the easiest way without worrying about conversion is to find the .mov in your temporary internet folder (will be something like C:\Documents and Settings\<accountname>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files for winXP)...

There are expandable circles in the middle of models for draw distances and are easily moved by accident when wanting to move the model about.

Yeh, I think I might just have the lamp posts have yellow lights, the lights on the beach are just temp as a friend was rushing me to compile and didnt have time to set up decent lights.
Might always go back to daytime lighting, easier that way.
