We have a new name, and although there may be other mods similar to our theme (there is one that I am aware of), it does not discourage us from continuing. :D

I love the community and working to support this site. Along with the excellent staff and forum members, a big addition here are the infrequent but popular posts by Valve Software employees themselves. It shows that we're not just making stuff up - we really are popular in the eyes of forum...

We are indeed choosing the name "Kingdom Lost" for our mod. I thank everyone who posted for coming up with great names. Infinite thanks to Yakuza, who came up with the name we're using. :cheers:

When you buy your graphics card, it comes with all the features of the DirectX version it supports. For example, your 9800 Pro is a DirectX9 card and can give all the DX9 features games have. Once DirectX10 comes out, you will be able to download drivers so your card supports 10, but it won't...

you could use any graphics card as long as it's DirectX7 or better. For a PCI card, I'd recommend the GeForce FX5200 or if you've got more money, the FX5600. Don't go for the ATI Radeon cards -- the newest PCI one I'm aware of is the 9200 which is way out of date. Half-Life 2 will run fine...
