A few weeks ago I was defending dustbowl stage 3 as a Spy. I took the tunnel, and backstabbed about 4 guys over by "The Area Formally Known As The JP". ;) I then ran up to the small building above the tunnel entrance, and waited a minute. I heard some guys coming, so I cloaked and ran around the...
I voted HW guy, because he STILL has lines that make me laugh, even after playing TF2 for a fair amount. Pyro was very funny when I first played him.
Maybe I'd change my mind after a Meet The Pyro video... :D
Remember the first Hunter battle, and the commentary Valve put with it. Since Alyx got stabbed and nearly killed by the hunters, she was pissed at them, and determined not to let them take her. Valve said that they carefully crafted her emotional response in that scene to fit what they felt...
Basically, any complaints people might've had with Steam a few years ago are moot now. Just use Steam. And if you're doing it "Steamless" so you don't have to buy it, then leave now, and then kill yourself with a rake.
Sorry, I meant "design" in the conceptual sense, not the machining or engineering sense.
I'm only 22, and I'm a Computer Science major. Firearms certainly interest me, and while I enjoy reading about engineering problems and their solutions, I don't have many mechanical skills myself.
The simplest way would essentially be to stack a right-handed and a left-handed shotgun next to each other, and have one trigger group that fires both, but have separate magazines underneath each barrel. The pump arms of the two shotguns would be linked on to one pump handle, cocking both...
I bet I could design a pump-action double-barreled shotgun. Not sure I would know how to make it so you could pump and only reload one barrel, but I could certainly design one where a pump reloads both.
Now that you mention it, that would be the Valve way of doing the warning message, especially in Episode 2, what with the "The mission cannot continue without the Freeman, all hope is lost" death messages, instead of the earlier "Subject showed a tremendous lapse of judgment" ones. (I forget the...
Liking your side-by-side is fine by me, I was just saying over-unders are more common. :)
Personally, I'd rather have a pump any day, cause I like having a magazine, but that's all personal preference.
