Don't worry, i never even gave this aspect a second thought when playing, it all seems perfectly fitting. The zombies all move at varying speeds depending on their alertness and how much the palyer has disturbed them, it all fits well, trust me.

No no, don't worry, that's caused by a vingetting effect when you're bleeding out on the ground, the headlighs flare up when you're right in their path, but it all looks very realistic, trust me ;)

Don't go thinking this is just a graphical and engine update guys, its planned to be the whole works. As X_i_Z_o_R says, the source engine is very suitable to the NS universe, massive sound scapes and immersiveness can be created along with some excellent animation, it'll be like playing Aliens...

erm, you should have a 40-50 degree cpu temp and approx 30 degree case, i think something has crapped out inside your computer, its nothing to do with HL2.

Also, are you saying you've overclocked your GFX card? reset that first.

yes, use the steam backup function, it will let you select the backup to cd option.

hl2 does not feature HDR. It require the redoing of art assets, its something valve would like to do as an upgrade to HL2. The source engine its self, however, does support HDR.

Hahaha, you fruit, thats retail value, its the same if you buy the game from the publisher. The price in the shops is a discounted one, you'll notice next to the price they have "save £xx" Also, Vivendi won't let Valve undercut their prices.
