If you don't like HL2 then stop playing, stop posting here, and stop giving grief to everyone else that likes the game. I'm PRETTY sure an HL2 based forum does not want or need a flame bait post about how Half-life 2 sux0rs. Bye. Ciao. C'ya. Adios. Sayanara. Jai Jian. Done and done.
Ranks up there with HL2. Same kind of thing, you're never taken out of the story, and it's incredibly rewarding to piece together the story with the bits of info you gather throughout the game.
AI dissapointed me the most. I was looking forward to being surprised by the smart combine elite's kicking my ass over and over again. The only impressive thing was when i shut the door on the fast zombies and they broke in through the skylights =|.
But then, they HAD to save some stuff for...
If you let it bounce around in a room any enemy that is even scuffed by it will be vaporized. It's probably the coolest second function of all the normal guns.
Absolutely blown away. Every time I started to think things were gearing down something amazing happens!
Except the ending. Like Halo2 it's almost like it stopped mid-game!
That Ravenholm thing is hilarious, and I am glad they kept it in the game ^_^.
Another bug: I landed on a strider's knee-joint and it kicked me 100 feet into the air!!!
Ok it's a screw up. The same thing happened to me and I couldn't jump. It was fixed after i loaded another save and then loaded it back.
At first I thought I couldn't jump because my New Toy was forcing me down or something =P
When I shot a buzzsaw at a hanging tree-corpse in Ravenholm and his ragdoll completely bugged out and started flailing around at astronomical speeds =D.
Yeah the whole teleporter scene in general was pretty funny. I especially liked the jokes they made about Black Mesa.
Another cool part...
