ok since alot of you dont understand why this is happening i will explain. when you first run half-life2 it wants to make a sound cache (dont ask me why) so it may look like the screen is frozen, but its not, its loading all the sounds files from the .gfc file. there may also be a problem...

i am using fedoracore 3 linux yet again but this time withy cedega installed ^_^ and no problems at all .

i do also hate microsoft becouse for the stuff i do i crash alot, to much ram it is 2 x the ram of fedoracore and well everything else is ok...but it also takes up alot of hd space.

well, linux actualy i have had no problewms with no, no crashes at all, seems a little more stable for what i do (use point2play and cedega) i like the enviroment and i like the free c (coding)
