32 players is already too much. I don't see why you would want more. Maybe if there were some really big maps, but then again, I guess most of my favorite maps are the smaller ones. Plus, I have dialup and it would be bad for me, lol.

Yeah, and the aim maps are kinda like that too. You don't spawn right away, but there's no objective and they're really small maps, so you don't have to wait very long at all.

I tend to use the silencer for long distances, though I don't usually take it off either. It seems to me that it's better for long range, but that it's more powerful with it off. Either way, I mostly try to use it for headshots down long hallways and such. I'm very good at it and it's so fun...

It's all good though, in a few years that will be a very big deal. Everything seems perfect now, but with ppl like that it can only get better.

I have dialup, so my ping is usu around 200-300, but my fps is usually good (stays above 60fps with almost highest settings). Sometimes it drops, though. I think it may be the server, especially if you have dialup, because some are kinda crappy. They cause me to get <60 fps, though it usually...

I've seen that before, but for some reason I thought it was the server. It may have been me, but I must have updated after that if so. But yeah, there is reflection corruption somewhere, so just turn off reflections and it will look ok until you get it fixed.

This has been done before, but yeah... it's been a while. I would have to say Ravenholm, even though that's what everyone says. I haven't really played the game enough (only beaten it once), too much CS:S.

Hiya redrover. Yeah, that hard drive should be fine. I'm not sure how much of a slown down it might be, but it is definitely compatible. I kept my old hd when I built this system. There may only be one IDE channel, however, in which case you need to get creative when mounting your drives...
