With a heavy heart, I've just joined the L4D2 boycott group - based entirely on the manifesto on their page. :(
Valve really need to act sooner, rather than later.
As mentioned already, it is far too soon for a full-price L4D sequel. If they'd have waited another year before this announcement, and given the same sort of support to L4D that we've come to expect from Valve (masters of added-value content.) they would have had a far better response.

These new models are excellent - a big improvement on the old ones. Much more convincingly real.
The veteran now looks like a disciplined old guy who has been biding his time polishing his guns, instead of just some random hobo. The biker looks reminds me of Bennett from Commando. :cool:
Assuming for a minute that it's real (which it probably isn't!) The role of "Eccentric Dead Billionaire" (emphasis mine) suggests that either this character might be revealed in some kind of recordings.
Alternatively given that he seems to become the 'principal antagonist', perhaps he has...
As an avid PC/PS3 gamer and a huge fan of Valve's first person shooters, amongst the last things I'd ever want to hear from Valve is that they are developing for the WII or developing an MMORPG.
