Dont start the map again, just compile using only the basic geometries, if it works, so add some other ones and so on, soon or late you?ll go with the problem. That what most people calls debuging.

I never had such error before, check out the map?s size, maybe is too big.
I know, but since they didnt know how to resize a solid, or apply a texture to an individual surface, it can be translated in two things: or they are beginers or... i dont know how to end the sentence LOL

Then why dont you use a tracktrain with a trigger and some smoketasks and steams? you can set the train speed in every path and you can move the smokes making them childrens of the train entity. Is just an idea, maybe isnt the best way to do it, but im sure that it will work.
My only idea if you have Episode 2, that maybe you can use GFCscape and Vmex to extract and decompile the T minus one map, and looking how they did the effect, the problem is that maybe the entity that makes that effect doesnt exist on CS.S. By the way looking at that map you?ll get a big idea...
I?m sure that the graphic card is the bottle neck as well. I have a Pentium 4 3.00 Ghz with 1.5 Gb of ram and i have the FPS constant above 30, and im using full full graphics 1280x1024, and the highest also for the other setups... But, of course, i have a GForce GT8600 512DDR3. Lately the games...

In this location the models are playing a very important roll. There is not much architecture but that?s because i am mainly searching the engine limits to create big outsides, im working in the fade off models and occluders because visleafs are unusefull there...
That doesn?t make sense because the level is very unfinished, i just placed the light sources and then i will choose some good lamps for them with wires and glow, like it have to be. Time to time.
