Braces

Never had braces before... my teeth are really aligned well and I've never had the problems that my cousins for instance have had, requiring braces.

And I'm thankful for that, because I'm fairly certain my dad wouldn't have taken me to get braces anyways if I had needed them way back then. lol

*bump*

Just got new wires put in technically yesterday. My teeth are aching quite a lot now, but at least I'm used to my brace. The wires aren't catching as much, which is good. I've got pink things in my brace now instead of silver.

I'm getting my buddy's girlfriend to clean my teeth tomorrow. She says if she does a good job on them it's gonna hurt.

Can't possibly be as painful as the surgery i had on my mouth. I had a lot of the roof of my mouth scooped out to expose two teeth that had got stuck. That was painful. It was even more annoying after the dressing was taken out and I was left with a gungy hollow in the roof of my mouth. Nothing can compare to how horrible that was. Nothing.

Imagine having your eye held open, and a rusty needle slowly pushed into your eyeball at a speed of a few cm a minute. The only movement you can make is to shake your head slightly, causing the hole to rip wider as it moves into your eyeball.

Oh geez, that's nasty!

I feels like the roof of my mouth is destroyed whenever I burn it pretty badly(which is maybe once every five years), I can't even imagine how much I'd freak out to have it feel like that and actually have it be all messed up there.

Would you rather slide down a ten foot razor blade on your face or suck all the snot out of a sick dog's nose?

I got braces like 2 weeks ago. They hurt for a while and it's still tough to chew stuff sometimes, but overall it's not so bad. I'm 19 and I look like a little kid, though.
