Daily Sketch Thread

I've come across these nifty little threads on other forums and figured this place could use one just like 'em. But first, I'd like to lay down a few rules/suggestions:

• Sketches only, please! While I'm sure your fully-completed work is a friggin' masterpiece, try to keep it in other threads.
  
  
• If you have to criticize another person's work, be constructive! Nobody wants to see just how fragile your ego truly is. Take a hike if all you're going to do is lambast one another.

Now that the "suggestions" are set, let's get posting! Here, I'll start.

I figured it'd be more efficient to have people post their random sketches here, rather than in a thread all their own. Obviously, I don't expect people to submit a sketch every day. I'm thinking more along the lines of "Post 'em if you got 'em".

Well actually, I wouldn't mind if her breasts were a little bigger. I know it sounds corny, but they could use a lift up. It's not just because I'm a horny little cow but also because it would match her character. NO further comments! WARGH!

If I may Comment on your drawing, I would like to say I absolutely figgin love this! Her face is absolutely beutiful, and very convincing! I also love the hair and how you maintained such a clean and smooth drawing. Bravo!

Finally got my ass up and plugged in the scanner and scanned some drawings i have been doing lately.

Heres one that i really like, despite of the abnormally large hands

And heres another one i really like... mainly the guy to the right, but thought i'd just let the scetch in

and heres one i did a while ago...kinda wierd with that big hand, but what the ****

Heres a little concept i did for fun, for the mod im the leader off....i don't think it will ever be used, but i think it turned out decently

and at last, my latest drawing...i really like it, even though it really wierd and stuff...oh and his neck...all of it is his neck if theres a doubt
Im really happy with the cloth on his right arm, but i dont really like his pant...doesnt look realistic

OatMealMu i agree with the other poster about the breasts.. the drawing is lovely and very little needs to be said about constuctive critism.. but.. ya.. the breasts.. i don't think they match the body size..

and this not about being corny.. its just the way the whole body looks.. and then u look at the breasts.. and they look just a tiny bit off..

anyway, beautiful work :thumbs:

Yeah you would expect a person with such good posture to have higher breasts. I suspect its probably that you went the opposite way, not wanting to overdo them.

oooohhhh, lovely pictures. i especially like machagodzillas crawler. lovely. I have created and scanned in apiece of artwork that i would like to enter into the competition # 13 - it is about the same size as snowballs' entry except as a bmp file on paint it takes up 1mb, and i need it to take up 100kb.... what program can i save it on so it consumes less space? on paint if i make the image smaller it just gets all pixillated...
also, how do you make the image appear in your post NOT as an attachment? like some have here? i looked at the FAQ and it said to put [ img] [ /img] around the location of the file, but it didnt work.
could u help? :afro:

To make your file smaller make it a JPG.
To make the image appear on the boards you must first upload it to an online host and link it with the tags.

thx for the advice snowball, i founfd out the problem was that i hadnt properly made the image a .jpg (yet my computer was TELLING me it was one)
oh and btw, have u ever wondered what your avatar, sonic, would look like if he was about to be engulfed by a giant snowball? i certainly havent. but i drew it anyway. enjoy....

sort of. i used black paper, then used grey/ dark grey / white oil pastels to make the hairy grass and the organic spheres. then i smudged it
i did originally put a big hand as the background, but it looked dodgy.
gordon was just a copy of a sketch i did which i then cut out and painted. here is the origonal, and an experiment i tried with oil pastels:

hmmm, i like this. the armour is very dark and evil. i especially like the scaly shoulderpad- if i had to guess, id say this guy is some sort of an evil only- cares- for- himself scout / warrior. Maybe he is looking for gold, or a majical potion to use for his own purposes? And dont tell me. Im completely wrong arent i. lol

I think as long as the gordon looks ok, it will rock. Just the boxes alone is hilarious.
