that post confuses me ...that game bored my imo opinion but it is kind of close the the elder scrolls series.
ace ! thank you.. nice music (names?) too, hah.Ok, I said I would post the video I made, so here it is. I listed in the description the performance I got and my specs, so if anyone wants to compare.

Great graphics (design, technical, etc.), very fun gameplay that I've played through multiple times finding new tricks and traps (and I spent five minutes kicking a goblin head around before knocking it off a cliff...and plummeting to me death following it), and a seemingly intresting story.
The problems are, limited imersion with all the UI and first person talking and it did not run well. It was unplayable on the settings I used for HL2:EP1 (maxed all but no AA) and I could not even run it on the recommended levels for some reason (I had to drop textures to medium). I assume they still have alot of optimization to do.
I might buy it (and I rarely get new games).
SomeGuest from Facepunch forums said:Create a file called myconfig.cfg in your mm/cfg folder.
Add this to that cfg file.
bind "F1" "mm_npc_create_orc_sword_shield"
bind "F2" "mm_npc_create_goblin"
bind "F3" "exec myconfig.cfg"
bind "F4" "god"
g_ragdoll_maxcount 200
sv_Cheats 1
Then add +exec myconfig.cfg to your M&M shortcut parameters.
Whenever you make changes to your config ingame just hit F3 to reload it.
Spawning NPCS:
Enjoy watching the orcs and goblins beat the hell out of each other...or maybe you beating the hell out of the orcs and goblins.
Doesn't work?

I have similar specifications and am getting the same performance as you. The game doesn't scale well at all; turning things down to medium or low only gives a small performance increase, somewhere in the range of 2-4 frames per second.
I got the NPC spawning to work! Anyothers like that? Increase Statpoints and unlock the "Demo" skills?
AMD64 3800, 1gb, 6600 - Runs all on highest, 4xAA, 16xAtistrophic or whatever it is and HDR. 1024x768.
Episode 1.no it didnt run as well as hl2 episode 2,
Wow. After replaying it, I've come to the conclusion that the daggers are the coolest things I've EVER seen.
I tried playing with everything set on High, including 6xAA, 16xAF, and it ran fairly slowly. It was definitely playable, but only to get screenies to show off. I will have to lower the settings and see if I can't get great performance out of it then. Lost Coast ran great, as does every other Source-based game, so this is a little disappointing (for now).
(I am running a P4 3.6GHz with 1GB RAM and a Radeon X850XT PE).
