Brian Damage said:I don't think you understand me. The cat was a bloody marahooch fan, too. It used to go and sit on the couch between them of its own volition...
Brian Damage said:So, no catnip, then?
Sheesh. It used to do the exact same thing whenever they lit up. It wasn't just attention seeking, dude. Cats tend to be more... pointed about that sort of thing.
Now, personally I'd be worried if they were somehow forcing it to snort coke through a teensy-tiny straw, but we're talking second-hand weed fumes here...
Darkside55 said:Raziaar you and I have similar fears. I, too, have an overactive imagination that makes me think something could be "out there," waiting to scare me.
Except instead of things like scary clowns I have a most irrational fear of greys...y'know, the aliens. The thought of seeing an alien peering into my window scares me to no end. Why can't aliens just leave people alone?
Also, I don't like ghosts. Not as terrified of them, but they're scary just the same.
Oh, and when I'm washing my hair in the shower, and I've got my eyes closed so I don't get shampoo in them, I always rush to rinse so that I can open my eyes again, because I feel vulnerable and something might leap out and attack me. I always picture some weird kinda monster that's a cross between a viper and a demon cat (scarier in my head than it probably sounds writing about it).
Raziaar said:For me... I have an irrational fear of the dark and things that are out to get me, which stems from my childhood.
I'm not afraid of the dark so much, as I am of my highly overactive imigination that makes me think there's something monstrous lurking around in the darkness that wants to scare the hell out of me and who knows what else.
I know its silly, since i'm adult, but for some reason I have never grown out of that fear yet. Sometimes when I wake up in my house, and walk out to the kitchen in the relative darkness, I can see out of the corner of my eye the panoramic window into the backyard, and I envision an evil clown or something peering in at me, or things talking to me from the shadows or from such places as through the sink, or showerhead, etc. Most of these things I think started to happen after I watched The IT back when I was a wee kid.
I don't actually see or hear these things, but I imigine it as if I did, and it scares the crap out of me for some reason, and I always feel the hair on the back of my neck raising as if I were being watched or followed.
Crazy huh?
Raziaar said:I also have an irrational fear of deep bodies of dark water, including swimming in lakes, or in the ocean. I fear that there's something beneath the waves that is going to get me.

You've never closely observed a cat on "The Nip", have you? Their eyes unfocus, some tend to drool, coordination goes down, and they have a tendency to roll around on their backs. Ours used to do it all the time, demolishing the catnip in the process.
The "scent" is microparticles (in this case of oil) being inhaled and going into the bloodstream. Same as any inhalant drug.
Heheh... NIP TRIP!

Brian Damage said:Who ever said I used it? Or got my pets stoned?
And for your information, Spliff died somewhere around his mid to late twenties. In 1978, I think. Not sure.
Not crazy, I have the exact same problem. Although...for me, it's not monsters. I worry about ghost, and demons haunting my house, or me. And having somebody break into my house. I'm really paranoid, I sleep with a butchers knife under my pillow most of the time.
Absinthe said:Octopuses, squids, and other molluscs. They freak the living shit out of me. I can't look at them. I can't be near them. It's difficult for me to enter sea water when I know that they exist in the ocean. I have nightmares about them.
I've sat in aquariums, in rooms with the things. I'd position myself at the end of the room, just watching the glass from afar, seeing how much of it I could take. My hands went all clammy, I was rigid, and my mouth was agape with horror. When an octopus finally began moving around and swimming upwards, its legs spread out all over the place, I ****ing cracked. I started loudly mumbling incoherent babblings and rocking back in forth. I ran out of the place, but that still didn't stop me from being the most paranoid I have ever been for the rest of the day. Any movement out of the corner of my eye freaked me out. I refused to be near walls, because I feared I'd turn around and be face to face with one. Later that day, people ordered kalimari. I went outside and vomited in the bushes and stayed outside, shivering out of discomfort and with my appetite lost.
That was just last year.
People used to chase me around with pictures of them. I hate those god damn things.
the atatchment is a picture of me when i was little and saw a fish

Raziaar said:Yikes man, I wouldn't do that if I were you. You might move the knife around in your sleep(my pillow sometimes ends up across the room) and cut yourself and not know it until you wake up.

Also if you open the windows or a windy day, the wind makes this howling sound
ITs 1:09pm and its doing it, Most of it is logical...if i have a window open itll happen :upstare: ...but still its a bit over the topThe Thing said:Get a damn exorcist.

Drugging pets should be considered animal abuse.

I have a fear of the darkness and what ever "I think" is in the dark. I went to rent a video game and I picked up silent hill. I played it and I shut it of because I couldn't handle it..it freaked me out so bad. A couple hours later I faced my fear and I passed the game. I had a really good feeling after that.
One of the worst fears I can think of is public speaking...most people have that fear..but mine is especially bad..cause I have some trouble speaking.

lol, I did that too when I was a kid! Some friend of mine told a story where a spider got inside a sleeping mans nostril and layed eggs inside the nasal cavity. I had hard time to sleep that nightBad^Hat said:(I used to be afraid one would crawl into my mouth while I was still awake since I heard they did that in your sleep, so I sealed my mouth shut and tried to get to sleep as quickly as possible),
