Dollhouse

Good episode, enjoyable to watch and it had some interesting reveals that fleshed out the other Dolls. That November lost a daughter was interesting (did she volunteer for the Dollhouse because she couldn't handle the grief perhaps?). That Sierra was forced into being a Doll was an even more disturbing one (that girl has no luck it seems..). Victor got his wish, but they didn't reveal anything more about him which is all for the best I suspect at this stage. I also thought it was quite funny that Mike clearly had issues relating to 'alien abduction'. Maybe they'll revive his character somewhere down the way purely for comedy value. ;)

Personally I'm hoping the Fox give the show at least another season. The ratings are ok given it's day and time slot I'd say (Friday evening is traditionally the worst TS going). Perhaps given it's only 13 episodes a season, they'll give it a rerun on a different day and garner more viewers. Now it's gotten good I suspect it will be more favourably regarded by the TV critics.

Also Sierra fugly? She's certainly not conventionally pretty but I wouldn't go so far as to call her Fugly, more exotically striking.

And yes for the record I most certainly would :dozey:

I don't find her attractive, either.

And yeah I don't think we've seen the last of Victor's real life, given his prior relationship to Helo and that Helo hasn't given up yet. I think The Dollhouse could use him again.

Also, is it the doctor who snuck a message out to Helo using Echo in the last episode?

Sierra has the ugliest face of any woman I've ever seen on television, right up there with Chloe from 24.
D:

Going to continue watching the show tonight.

In the event that you, me and her end up on a international flight and everything goes decidedly LOST I'll be smiling dude ;)

Possibly, though I thought it was more a case that Echo found paperwork relating to Ballard when she was searching the offices and called him up then, it was a answering machine message after all no?

Is that because you find me attractive? ;)

No, that did happen, but in last weeks (two weeks ago?) Echo and Ballard got in a big physical fight and she said that someone had snuck a message into her etc. That's what I was referring to. He dreamed about it happening again at the start of last night's episode.

If you look like Sierra then probably ;)

I just thought that was a case of him suffering from the old blue balls

I watch it also, but I don't really have anything to contribute in here...
But you'r not alone.

There is something the **** wrong with that girl's nose.

Miss Tibet is at least 30% more attractive due to having a normal nose with completely developed nostrils.

Episode 3 was pretty crap.
Episode 4 was awesome, pretty intense.
Episode 5 was interesting, Agent Ballard is a persistent bastard and he has a pretty cute neighbor who'll probably become a love interest later on.
Episode 6 was great, totally called the love interest but what the ****
Mellie's a doll?!
, didn't see that coming.
Episode 7 was by far the best one yet... funny and intense.
And Episode 8... it was a hit and miss at first but then it all came together and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm really digging this show but I agree that it may not get past the first season. :(

Son of a bitch I just finally realised that the British woman who runs the Dollhouse was in Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek The Next Generation. I knew she was familiar but I could just not place her.

Why is Joss is even still working for them? ffs.

Topher's rarely appearing Asian assistant woman could be one of Alpha's people, like the crazy bow dude probably was.

Heh EP9 was awesome. Lot's of twists and turns and interesting stuff going on there. Show soo needs a second season now it's hitting its stride. :)

Yeah it's a shame that's not going to happen. Joss needs to find another company who takes better care of their talent.

Great episode.
But... please kill off Topher, PLEASE.

Topher's great.

I guess I 'got Jossed' thinking Ivy was the mole, and apparently Alpha wasn't behind it either.

I think he's incredibly annoying, kind of like Xander from Buffy.

Cry some more. Too many little babies on this team.

He's pretty funny, less annoying than Xander imo.

I think Topher's an excellent character. I really enjoyed this latest ep. Glad we hear a description of the attic, though it makes me think
That the attic isn't a permanent residence, it's more until they're rehabilitated as a doll.

I think it's a bit more like being boxed alas the Cylons in BSG. Anyhows it was a very good EP and I'm liking the direction the show is going. I loved the bit where Mellie was revealed to Ballard as November. If he wasn't freaked out enough already ;)

Yeah, I felt so bad for the guy.

EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND LOVE IS IN FACT A DOLL, BALLARD.
YOUR LIFE IS A LIE.

I really can't stand her.

Interesting twist with Dominik.

I don't like Echo's new handler already. But it's cool (and unsurprising) to see Boyd moving up.

I ****ing rofl'd hard.

Somehow I get the impression they'll be using Echo for more and more off duty work (given how lateral she is) than on, so I doubt the new handler will be reoccurring.

I think she'll have at least one mission with him, where the fact she didn't imprint on him properly (she was looking at Boyd while speaking) will come into play.
