Wait, the FOX execs were bitching about the show's budget? I thought it was already pretty low?
If they get the DVDs out I'm sure the Whedon fans will show them just how profitable it is, despite crappy scheduling.

Barring your sentence's poor structure (lol dumbass) Dollhouse hasn't been canceled.
When I wrote that all I knew was it hadn't been renewed yet and it had poor ratings, it was only logical to assume the show would be canceled, given Fox's past. I still can't believe they actually picked it up for another season, so uncharacteristic of them. I'm willing to bet Joss did some backroom deals to save it. As for my sentence, besides the missing 'an' the sentence is sound, if a little awkward.
Just added it to Netflix.
The box art doesn't really look that great, would've been better if they used thisin some way.
Felicia Day is in it, awesome!
Sorry but I really don't agree with that. The unaired pilot had terrible pacing, and the series benefited far better from the drawn out relationship between Ballard and Victor. Also it makes no sense that Echo met Ballard before.Firstly the unaired Pilot was about 10 times better than the reshoot Fox made Whedon do, throwing you into the activities of the dollhouse right from the off. Why they didn't run with it as was is frankly baffling tbh. Still Fox, they suck.

Enjoyed Epitaph though.
Is this show any good?
According to Joss Whedon at Comic-Con International in July 2009, she (Felicia Day) will be returning to Dollhouse during the show's second season, reprising the role that she portrayed in the unaired "Epitaph One" episode.
But, does Dollhouse have a "sucking you in" quality from the get-go?
Also, would it be unique enough to sustain my interest?
