The Puzzles in that preview video look a bit more tricky and challenging than in the original Portal. This will definitely take all the power of my brain

Same game with a new gimmick. More dark comedy that was never funny to begin with. EXCLUSIVE MUSIC BY JONATHON COULTON. Yup sounds like GOTY material.
 
so, who had the best conference?? I missed Sony's entirely and only heard Portal 2 and steamworks
 
I'm tied between EA and Sony. EA had NFS: Hot Pursuit and Dead Space 2, but Sony had friggin' Twisted Metal.








Disappointed as shit that they didn't announce a sequel to War of the Monsters alongside Twisted Metal.

Same. The addition of aerial combat could be fun, but I'm a bit unsure on that. It looked like twisted Metal, but to me it all didn't really feel like it.

Probably not very. For one, even a mediocre PC can play portal just fine, and I'm going to guess portal 2 won't be significantly more demanding. So any PS3 owner with a mediocre PC won't be more than moderately happy. Anyone who owns a PS3 and ONLY a PS3 wont even know who valve is unless they're a huge internet dork who goes around learning about things they can't have.

I don't think their PS3 market is going to be that huge or passionate. At least, not enough to warrant such a cryptic message sent out to people who do care about Valve (PC and 360 owners) when its got nothing to do with the vast majority of their fanbase.

Anyone think the Portal 2 delay is caused by the PS3? That's a good possibility given what Gabe has said in the past about the console.
 
Gabe has pretty much directly said several times that they wouldn't make games for PS3, which is very different from him saying "PS3's mom is fat lol".

I had no idea it was on there. Touche Valve, was this the plan all along? To announce Portal 2 on PS3 and shock people into realizing that the first one was on there as well? I am surprised!

Oh? And what about companies like Insomniac or Naughty Dog? Should I not know of them because I own only a 360?

Is F.E.A.R. 2 really that disliked? I mean, there are some flaws, the release was a bit shaky, and I really didn't get why they didn't release a dedicated server or Mod tools for it, left out lean, and.....ok, I guess I see why many disliked F.E.A.R. 2. But I still liked it, even though it wasn't as memorable as the first F.E.A.R.

I'm assuming its kinect. And its funny because the guy on stage "playing" the game is clearly moving after the character is moving. He's trying (and failing) to do full body lip syncing.
 
I love when it's so excruciatingly obvious the people playing these games are paid actors (ie: most of the time).

STAR WARS KINECT. NOW WITH 1:1 MOTION CONTROLLED DRAMATIC POSING.
