E3

Even though it wasn't presented at E3 (It's coming out soon, so there wouldn't have been any point), I am definitely looking forward to Raven's Singularity. The TMD definitely looks like alot of fun to use for all sorts of creative puzzle solving and kills.

Odd, I thought ID was saving Rage previews for Quakecon. Nonetheless, the game does look quite interesting. And I'm usually a sucker for post apocalyptic titles anymore (Thanks to Fallout 3. Ironic, since alot have said that Rage is a ripoff of Fallout 3).

That won't be still for a good while. Even though they may surprise us and show us Doom 4 at this year's Quakecon, I don't think we'll see anything on Doom 4 until next year sometime.

Didn't GE64 have regen health? I thought it was just the body armor that didn't replenish?

Hey, that's my game you're sassing! I spend my days slaving over those hand-painted environments, and they do look amazing. But Sessler is an utter spaz. I can't believe he lept out of his chair to hug Tim.

Nice work! I think it looks gorgeous, and that's saying a lot, considering it was a romp through a sewer.

2 of my top 5 favorite game companies are Bethesda and id.

Hopefully they updated it a bit from the old Radiant/Doom3/Quake4 editors, those were horrible in terms of workflow and user interface.

I didn't have a problem making modifications to just about everything without the editor (the particle editor was extremely useful, however), but just having the editor is cool.

And it means that there will be a custom mod launcher built into the game, which is nice.

... and also hopefully they will release the SDK. I believe they will.
 
Well, whatever was done was done reeeeeaaaaal nice like. RAGE is purdy as heck. Watching the gameplay vids last night made me positively sticky with anticipation!! I am also eager to see the PC requirements...though I am less sticky for those. :(

Same here. And man, I've been wanting to sneak a dopefish in so hard since I've been here, but now since yesterday all the artists are joking about it. Buncha posers, I'm the only one who comes in on a pogo stick wearing a football helmet every day!
 
Rage looks like a poor FPS game with roleplay elements.

Oh yeah, I too am very anticipated for Rage. I am hoping that the PC requirements won't be too demanding. I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, at this year's E3 microsoft would announce Gears of War 2 for the PC but that didn't happen. I should have known better than to keep my hopes up since Microsoft cares little for PC Gaming.

Same here. I fear for them in the future too as the people that really helped build and understand the gaming crowd are now gone and it just seems like the business side of things is going to win out and we will all pay for it sadly. I don't have a lot of faith in what MS is going to do with gaming in general right now whether it is 360 gaming or PC gaming.
 
I've lost all faith in id, not expecting much from RAGE.
