E3

poor star wars franchise. it's raped to death.

Miyamoto is an evil genius. He created the Wii, then every other company saw how successful it was and tried to cash in on it by flooding the market with motion control and casual games. Then all the hardcore gamers felt left out and all of the sudden, Nintendo out of ****ing nowhere with all these awesome classic Nintendo type games. And there was no Cammie or Wii Fit or any bullshit, they actually did good.
Oh god damn dude, I never thought about it until now, but your probably right. LOL

I was just thinking about how most E3 games so far have been, "meh", but Nintendo is going to steal the show fs. Strange too, how Nintendo started out as a company for casual gamers this generation, but is now shifting the tide towards Sony and Microsoft, as said tide is now polluted with floating turds and diarrhea.

Miyamoto IS a f**king genius fs.

You realize this now?

I never liked the movies - I was actually referring to the games. They want to use the rolling droid from Episode One in KOTOR MMORPG, which makes no sense. There is also Force Unleashed 2 in development. It's also lame how Unleashed series are part of the canon, thanks to Lucas.

I love the FU series. Reminds me of Psi-Ops. But I agree with Barnz and everyone else. It needs to stay the hell out of canon.

WHERE'S MY BATTLE GOD DAMNED FRONT 3

Yeah. Becouse that's what ****ed up the canon. I can't get into a star wars discussion again... Even if eveyone agrees with me, it still pisses me off.

I was asleep for 7-8 hrs, what did I miss in the last 3 hrs??

Saddam Hussein resurrected, killed Kim Jong Il, took over North Korea and started a new game developer called Saddam Jong Inc. He's working on a Wii game where you use a helicopter to spread chemical weapons on your enemies. The nunchuck is the flight control and the wiimote controls the nozzle.

havent them showed anything of the next deus ex?

Are they making a Battlefront 3?

!!!!!
???

So far, the only title that has really interested me at E3 was Portal 2. I really liked what I saw with their E3 video presentation. With more variety, a deeper story, and characters you can interact with (Ok ok, so the only 'people' we know you are going to interact with are personality cores. And the mega-bitch Glados herself.), Portal 2 is shaping up to be definitely a worthy sequel to Portal. Too bad it isn't coming out this holiday season, it would have made a great birthday gift.

So far, the only title that has really interested me at E3 was Valve. So I came on a Half Life 2 forum to ignore other awesome games and express to everyone how much I like Valve's ability to do things I like.

Sorry... it had to be done.

His crime is... ignoring games you think are awesome?

Yep... an event full of new and exciting games and you only think one that you've seen 30 seconds of gameplay is the only good one? How many ways can we say fanboy? :D

There's atleast 10 minutes of straight footage when you combine it all together. Can't say much else has caught my interest either. Sure there's been some "Oh that could be fun" or "Sounds like it might be interesting" but I think Hot Pursuit and LoZ are the only other games that have even entered my game radar.

There were plenty of exiting games on E3, but many of them are for the consoles only. :| Gears of War 3, I would *LOVE* to see that on the PC but Microsoft and Epic have no plans on bringing it to the PC. I'm also still on the wall about Bulletstorm, even though the E3 presentation was better than past presentations of Bulletstorm. I also had an interest in F.E.A.R. 3, but something about the E3 video presentation didn't exite me as much as the E3 presentations of the past 2 F.E.A.R. games. I have also pointed out great interest in Crysis 2, though lord knows if my PC can be able to handle it. It looks like a great sci-fi title. I then point out that Portal is what has interested me the most, and that makes me a fanboy? How? I have alot of PC Titles that are not made by Valve and I still enjoy them alot. I don't care who make any title, if they are fun and I enjoy them then I'll enjoy them no matter what.

Good grief, I don't understand people sometimes!

In his defense it was a big highlight and I can't think of that many games that have really impressed or suprised me :|

dead space 2 has been the only one (sorry guys i liked dead space but i wasnt howling for a sequel ya know?) to surprise me. Vanquish has a little too.

EDIT: Sorry AC Brotherhood might count too only because i thought it was going to suck majorly

mgs rising, that dust game, and off course portal2 are the most interesting

still there is the fact of a new parasite eve coming which I hope brings back the classic survival horror genre

EDIt:that mortal kombat video looked very cool

Actually MK sounds like it is getting some of the most surprising praise :)

Why do I have to suck at fighting games?!?!? ARGH!! FFFFFUUUUU-

I remember back at the mid 90s I use to be a huge MK fan. But around 1997-98 I startled to loose interest, especially since this was the time I became more of a PC Gamer and teetered away from console gaming. The new MK game is starting my interest back with Mortal Kombat, but I'm not so sure if I can stick with it for long before loosing interest. Hell, it's 8 years since I last played a fighting game.

Cool that they showed all the fatalities. Now I dont need to play it.

a) Um, hive mind?

b) As if the vast majority of games presented by everyone weren't sequels. As if that's a bad thing.

If the only complaint is "SEQUELS!" then my only response is "at least they're not on kinect"
