Good: Incredible atmosphere

Metal Gear Solid 3: 10, 9.5, 9.0
Good: Polished gameplay, excellent voice acting
Bad: Weird and nonsensical plot twists

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: 10, 10, 9.0
Good: Absurd amount of variety
Bad: The PS2 is showing its age

Killzone: 8.0, 7.5, 8.0
Good: Fast gameplay, excellent music
Bad: Horrendous slowdown

One persons view. MGS3 will be 2nd to top of that list in game sales by a long way with GTA:SA leading the pack by, what i predict(and read), over double what MGS3 will sell. (around the 15 - 16 million mark - bigger than the biggest ever blockbuster, Titanic)

How can Halo2 get GOTM? its not even good lol. Unless of course they've drastically changed the way it plays and looks since Halo but from the looks of it, its no different, infact, it even has the same ****ing guns and models lol how boring can the Halo series get?. Believe me ive tried to like Halo, i had it on Xbox's release and i bought it on the PC but then i got onto like level 5 or whatever and it just seemed like they took a previous level and mirrored it.

There is this one monster that they use like 15 times per corner and it makes doom3 and imps look rare.

Play the game first. Even if you played the leaked French version, you won't thoroughly enjoy unless you don't speak French fluently....it doesn't count.

Nice score. As for the "weird and nonsensical plot twists", I would expect that from Hideo Kojima. Especially when MGS3 is going to have the Patriots (la-li-lu-le-lo) involved in the story again. :rolling:

And just..wow. You haven't even played Halo 1 have you, short of a demo or something? What it sounds like to me is you heard people criticize the first one for it's repetitive level design (something that is guess what, better in part 2!), so you throw that out there as well. Pathetic.

I didn't even have a PC when i first played Halo so whatever was being said on the internet i didn't even know about and my opinion on Halo is from my own time with the game.

I'd link the link where i saw the pictures of the EXACT same guns as in Halo1 only it was removed by a mod with them being from the stolen version of Halo2.

.....I don't actually care that people like Halo2 (i pitty them, bad taste) but this forum is crawling with FarCry haters when FarCry exceeds in everything there is to a FPS and yet people will back Halo2 up and bash FC to the limits on here. /Edited out HL bit for safety - not the best place to mention HL on a HL2 fan forum. (...no i don't dislike HL either before anyone says it...)

The challenge and practise that is required to master it. No other single player shooter is as hard or satisfying (on any format)

Far Cry was fun (excellent in parts) - but after one week it had been finished on realistic. There was nothing left to learn, the game asked nothing more from the player. Wrapped up, done and uninstalled.

Halo (Xbox) took me months/years to 'master' on Legendary - it's one of those titles that truly gets better the more you play it (i'll admit that it isn't that impressive the fist time, or maybe even the second, but once you are good enough to play on Legendary the game really opens up)

And then there's co-op (which alone can provide months/years of happy gaming)

And no more crap about Halo being hard due to the limitations of joypads - i'm fed up of explaining why that is complete bollox.
