Italy were very poor but still expect them to win.

should be a good game tonite between germany and holland,
i dont think you should blame gerrard for his part in the second goal.
in the replay you can see he has his facing his own goal and ashley cole is facing opposite, he was clearly indisive and should have cleared it, defenders should always punt the ball anywhere when in doubt.
 
Larrson rocks, I'm sorry to see him leave Celtic, it won't be the same without him :/

English defence was legendry, they couldn't go anywhere with the ball, but because of two slip-up's (which we bound to happen when they kept attacking us), one the foul on the edge of the penelty area, and the other the crappy back pass, and the foul in the penalty area we wen't 2-1 down.

oh, i agree with ya there, i was very proud of our defence, except ashley cole made a few slip ups but redeemed him self a bit later on in the game.
 
when you have two of arguably the best teams in europe, whoever slips ever so slightly loses the match.

Henri wasn't doing too bad either, but he was being watched for the whole match.

Zidane just chilled out for the whole 90, got his free kick +1 and took a penalty +3, and everyone thinks he's god. *$igh*
 
Still clumsy England lost that match!

But I think England won't get it easy against Swiss and Croatio!
 
It was a great victory for sweden no matter who they played.
you cannot say any team is poor as even the champions have to qualify.

As much as i hate larsen and freddy I beleive their performance was worls class,
it wasn't if bulgaria played that bad they just couldn't score.

Sweden would probably beat England !

yeah, that was an amazing game.. so that puts czech rep through.. hmm, this is a complicated group now.. the end of the group phase is always the best part of these tourneys to me :)

I watched the first 10 mins but got rather bored so turned it off... Wish I hadn't.
 
Stupid spanish referee, didn't saw the 2 fouls on Nistelrooy? we should atleast got 1 penalty from that, that second yellow card of Heitinga was bullshit. that was a dive of Nedvet. I still can't believe we didn't get that penalty. Cocu ruining the 2-0 score by passing the ball right into a Czech player's feet. Talking about that Spanish referee, I know for sure this was his last tournament of his career. :imu:

And what was Dick Advocaat doing? Replacing the best man of the team, Robben with a 34-old manchester city player, Paul f*cking Bosvelt :laugh:
 
Holland deserved to win but the czechs probabably deserved to win. what a shot by nedved of the bar. The italians have been dissapointing.
