It also works on any of the Geforce 6 series. Also thanks to Borys for finding them.

It doesnt work on my system and i gt a 6800 ultra, 1.5Gb RAM, A64 3200+ :(


i gt the lastest drivers aswell... :(

Wierd... I got it to work on my Geforce 6800 PCI-E.

Woot and they are beautiful!

Real-time hair (hair even has depth shadows!), sub-surface scattering, hardcore displacement mapping on the walls, HDR (whoa what a difference 64-bit lighting is!), and Pixel Shader 3.0

That rocks, now it's time to download Mad Mod Mike!

No, although you will get lots of nice errors.
 
Yup both of these demos are really nice and run perfectly fine at 1280x1024 with a 256mb GeForce 6800 GTO.

Luna was better than Mad Mod Mike (though I loved the indirect lighting in Mike's demo!) so if you are only going to download one... Download Luna!
 
Yeah, those have been up for a while.

Anyway, the latest ForceWare drivers **** up your videos. There's an easy way to fix it. Go into our GPU options and stuff, Color Correction, and under where it says Apply color changes to, set it to All. Boom, no more bright videos and shit.
 
AWESOME they worked! i guess i just needed to restart my system for some reason

They **** up my videos more than just brightness, mine completely freeze my computer, so, im currently running 71.89's..

No, these have not been up since the 22nd of June, these are quite recent. But anways, I love how they look, simply amazing stuff. Suprised that it actually ran as good as it did. I can't wait for games to start utilizing SM 3.0 some more, I really want to see games that look as good as these demos.

And Alan Freeman, I doubt it. These demos rely HEAVLIY on SM 3.0 which current ATi cards do not have.

Thanks! Rookie move on my part for assuming that when I got the 7800GTX that these would be included somewhere on the installation disk. :upstare:

On a side note, it's a good thing the nVidia servers are fast!

On another side note, I'm as much impressed with the amount of modeling that went into the figures as with the hardware rendering of said models! :bounce:
 
I now have an idea of how awesome the Playstation 3 will be. Too bad I can't get this demo to work on my Radeon 9800 PRO. I doubt my computer would've been able to handle this stuff anyways.

Good heavens! Mad Mod Mike is funny, but Luna is beautiful! She should have been in Tron 2.0 and those critters with the hands look like the mascot from Iron Maiden. That's no joke about the hair either. If you get the demo, zoom in on her face. The way the eyes move, blink, and dilate is so very well done. Of course, the miniskirt was a nice touch too.

On Starcraft I get 45 FPS max...2.8 ghz, 1 gig ram...9600XT..
I think it's just FRAPs being FRAPs

FX57 ain't worth upgrade, waiting for FX62 or FX58.

and my old cards sold for £350 (both) on ebay.co.uk :cheers:
 
I can play it with my system ( 6600 GT )
But.. I get like 12 FPS tops

I'll be getting a 6600GT soon, I'll try it on my system then...only to have my graphics card do a kamikaze on my system
