god doesn't exist. He was disproven by the babel fish. no animal can follow that evolutionary tract by accident, so that proves the existence of god. but since god said you can only have faith in me, you can't have faith in something that is proven, so he disappeared in a puff of logic.
 
OK OK... I believe their COULD be a god, I JUST DO NOT BELIEVE IN CHRISTIANITY (Jesus Christ) and any other religion like Mormans, Buhhda, ect.

I don't think religion is bad... I just think of it sort of guide lines and morals to live your life by. If you really think about it, some of the bibles teachings help improve society... same thing goes for other religions ... (except that religion where you have to throw around rattlesnakes.. I MEAN WHAT THE ****!)

I think its really ****ED up to go around and tell people to stop believeing in what they want to believe in... Once people start to get into other peoples private space.. everything goes to hell.

It's better to believe in a god than not one at all.It's 50/50...If you believe in a god then you would go to heaven and if there wasn't one then you wouldn't have to worry at all.So its would be more logical to just go ahead and believe in god.

Sadly this is what many religions(read: christianity) does, with missionaries. GO into other o****ries and tell them they're backwards and going to hell if they don't repent dunk themselves in a lake then ramble on about jebus. I don't have much problem with religion, though I think its silly, I have have a problem with religious extremists. And I think religion kind of endorses that with its 70-someodd virgin promises and whatnot.

Yea...the episode was mainly about that kids 3rd leg ;) and his dad getting jealous and joins the NGA(NRA to be exact) to get his pride back.

Belief in God (unless you have experienced some sort of divine revelation) is actually belief in people. I think this is why so many people have trouble with faith, and belief in God. It's sad really since an atheist is really just a person who doesn't believe what his or her fellow human beings claim to have seen or experienced. I used to be an atheist, but I had an experience that changed me forever, and I just see things different now. I'm not so skeptical anymore (I used to be skeptical of everyone and everything). I believe God does exist in some form, and does indeed care about us a great deal.

Yes I know...but I was trying to say is just pick a religion and believe in some god and you won't have any worries when you die.

But, there's more to religion than just believing. IE. if I pick Christianity, and believe in God, then murder 5 people, I won't go to heaven for believing in him.
 
I just have to say this: I don't care if you are an atheist, I respect the fact that you made a certain lifestyle, but some people come bashing their religion.
We helped the Jews during WWII, but if they are to be called stupid and so forth...is just a waste.

BAH! Not flaming but seriously me being athiest has nothing to do with me not wanting to believe in god like others do. Its because every god represented has been discredited by philosophy and science. The bible itself has so many contradictions that you cant take it serious. I personally believe the universe is self-governing, and even if there is a God id rather have my freedom to think for myself and be damned to hell then be just a sheep and go to heaven.

lol, I took it to the extreme, forgive me.. :) Point being, believing won't get you into heaven. Requires faith, worship, prayer and asking for forgiveness of your sins

Wow. Science has discredited God? What world are you living on? It's starting to become the exact opposite of that, alot of old bogus "theories" are being disproven..

Also, I'd like for you to point out where the Bible contradicts itself, also, I'd like for you to point out the "so many" contradictions :)

I believe in the 'big bang' theory, but before that occured something must have created that first piece of matter, unless it just came into being and there was literally nothing before it, 2 concepts which the human brain can't cope with very well

Whoops forgot to say that i am not tied to any religous beliefs

Also, I don't want to debate religion online.. I've done it before, I hate doing it, debating in real life is worthwhile, online just never works out
