Had a good BF2 day?

I tried to re-install my copy of BF2, but it thinks its already installed and wont let me reinstall, so no installation for me. I wanna join in the fun too. :(

This shit is wack, yo.
 
Think Pitzy had the same problem...cleared the registry etc. i assume?

I did have this problem..I think I needed to delete the BF2 folder in my documents...I really don't remember though. :(
 
Got Mr. Neptune to play with me, along with Sinkoman later. Great fun and loved getting jet bombed with ya Sink <3

If you've EVER ridden with me while I was driving, you know I'm a stunt devil that actually pulls off all the awesome jumps. Well, Sinko bailed after the SS, but I still made it to the flag in one piece!

No screenies, but:

Played the entire 30-minute-plus round as a Medic in squad Alpha on Karkand. I got:

87 points
Meritous Unit ribbon
First Aid badge
3rd place on my team (USMC)
1st place for Teamwork, Heal, Transport, and Kill Assist

All in all, my best round ever. I am way too ****ing happy for my own good :D

It feels REALLY good when you played a game of BF2 and everything went perfect. Teamwork, a winning round, and spotting away with happyness.

I miss that feeling. :( I actually had a start of one of these rounds...but then my computer blue screened and crashed about 1/4 the way into the round..I was pretty pissed.
 
how is the 256 server so stable - it never seems to crash ever unlike so many others
in fact the only issue I have with the 256 server is the server map rotation :p
 
Well after i got back from town last night looked on Xfire and was on Sharqi half-full. Loaded the game and was back to Dalian and empty. We do get crashes though often late at night..i think D:

Issues with the map rotation? Post on the forum dude

What's the 256 server IP? I can never seem to find it through any normal methods, and everyone keeps talking about it :p

I was commanding and my buddy was on a squad all by himself, sniping, and successfully defending the flag from 3 captors. Just for the hell of it I clicked "rebuke squad" and my gruff commander voice came over the radio: "My GRANDMOTHER could do better." :LOL: Best. Radio message. Ever.
 
Bah, I haven't played BF2 in 2 weeks mainly because of retarded fps lag.

I shall get playing again once my 7900GT (OC!) arrives and I build my pc.

Something to look forward to :D

Anyway, the last thing I can remember is everyone in prone under the market stands on Karkland and I just jumped over the top and sprayed them all with the support weapon. Very funny :)
 
Me and Viper were playin, kicking some ass on Sharqi. He would be support me medic, or vice versa...great score, we snagged the top 2 for that map. GG us.

If it wasnt for us we wouldn't have lost as bad as we did. We ninja capped freaking TV station at least twice. D:

I never had a good day in BF2...that is why I uninstalled it...well, that and for to make room for the game im beta testing....I liked Surreal 2 a bit, but USI was the only thing my clan played...

Had a good BF2 day yesterday - 79 points at the end of the round.
All because I teamed up with another guy in the attack helo, both of us using VOIP.
TV missile gunner with VOIP = ownage of everything

Last night's game was awesome though. Me and Pitz played an enormous match in 64-player Sharqi, with only 8 players total. Basically, on each team there were two ATs and two snipers, and we all went back and forth between the two. And for the entire match, Pitz snipered me. Repeatedly. And then planted some very sneaky claymores. And then he snipered me again with his PISTOL. >:0

'twas fun though, and I got marginally better at sniping :D

Tis true, lotsa fun! Granted I was commander, I pulled first with 108 points, and the second place guy had 105 *whew for gold*

The match was REAL boring though, sadly...me and Soup/stigmata just went back and forth looking for each other, killing one another, rinse, repeat.
