Interesting bit of trivia, employers these days tend to browse through myspace accounts of those looking to get hired, so if you act retarded on a myspace profile, don't expect your resume to be at the top of the pile.

Actually, there are a great many children all over the world who are intelligent. I think a lot of people have to seriously reconsider their definitions of intelligence. Sure, "omg u tk him 2 da bar|?" isn't a great first impression, but you'd be stupid yourself to judge someone based on a few things they said.

I'm not saying there aren't idiots or apathetics, but I guarantee there are a lot of people who are misjudged because others perceive them to be stupid.
