Wow, you guys bash people that arn't going to fight. Then you bash the people that are.

I am going to enlist in about 3 years. After i finish my colledge i plan on becoming an attack chopper pilot. I want to support my country, and beign a pilot in the civillian world is also a good thing. I am not forced to by finncial constraints, actually i am pretty well off.

You idiotiocracy (sp) is appaling. Becuase you friend is a pussy and doesnt want to risk his life by performing the obligation that he SIGNED for does not reflect on the rest of us. It is wartime now, and will be for the forseable future. Out of my ROTC Company over half of us plan on enlisting in either the Army or the Marines. We know that there is a high probability that we will die. But we face it, and we will perform our duty regardless of where or why.

Face it, you friend never wanted to be a soldier, never wanted the kind of obligation that they gave him. He wanted the money. Now he has to work for it and he gets all pissy.

This is an announcement to all those who plan on joining the Armed Services:
Dont do it for the money/colledge. Don't expect to be able to serve in a time of peace then get out when war comes. Know what you are getting into when you sign that contract. Realise that that is one (or two) years of your life that you just handed to the military, and that you will most likely have to fight at one time or another. After you sign, that is it, you are obligated by the document and personal honor to fight in war.
(And i mean honor as in fulfilling your promisses.)

You are a moron, my "pussy" friend has been fighting in Iraq for the last year sir. He has been hit by a car, he has been shot at numerous times, and he has told me that he has even killed to save his, and his mates lives. And you mister ****ing high and mighty, want to sit there and bad mouth him because you "plan" to join up in three years. Yeah, I believe that you little bitch.

You are pathetic, you are a disgrace to humanity, you are a disgrace to your political side, and you should be drug to the middle of the street and shot for treason you ****ing ****.

And you say he never wanted to be a soldier? I guess thats why he re-enlisted right? Four more years, on his own accord, so **** you. He is more of a man than you will ever be.

Its comedic how you will jump other people for voicing there opinions about the armed service and what they are doing in iraq, then you turn around and belittle the same troops. I bet you even have one of those support the troops ribbon on your 3 mile to the gallon SUV don't ya'

But hypocrisy from someone of your beliefs? I should have seen it coming a mile a way.

And you are a man of the world?

With years and years of experience under your belt would know this?

You are a joke pal spouting bullshit you have no idea about.

When you grow up and leave school and go out into the world maybe, just maybe you can make announcements to anybody planning to join the Armed services.

Please be quiet, be viewed as an idiot rather than spouting bullshit and proving it.

If your going into the military for college/money reasons and don't want to get shot at...then go into one of the many many jobs that are non combat. It's as easy as that. The military has a place for everyone...if they survive boot!

The funny part is i am right. You just cant prove it, so you try and belittle me. Wow, real intelligent einstien:sniper: . While I am at it my car happens to be a truck with a 4 cylender engine that gets 25 mpg. Damn them stereotypes, huh?

And you are a man of the world?
No but i happen to know what the enlistment agreement means unlike you.

You are a joke pal spouting bullshit you have no idea about.
Really, wow, how did ya figure that? I happen to have alot more experience than you in regard to the military. It is funny that ex-soldiers and soldiers agree with me, but you are so set in your views that you cannot see the truth behind it.
just maybe you can make announcements to anybody planning to join the Armed services.
Yes i can, now. Know what it means to sign up. That is all i posted. And you act as if i am trying to spout propaganda BS. Maybe you should read the enlisment contract?

Innervision, your post was so much of a flame bait that i will take the high ground by not responding in depth. BTW call me a hypocrit, but my future is pretty much set for me. You all may laugh now becuase i am not actually doing anything, but i cant do anything now becuase i am underage.

Maybe if all you understood what you were talking about you would be able to see the other side of the argument, just as i can see yours. The war is shit, but we are stuck in it, regardless of what we do now. So you and yourt friend are just going to have to live with it.

bush is calling to the people to send theyr kids to war? wtf?

and someone can tell what good thing has come from that war?

and the guy who say that the people that the people who support the war should fight I agree completly whit it

another thing is that I remenber in other forums some USA guy has said "we are in war " or something like that and I really dont condiser that as a war cuz usa has not been attacked if the 9-11 attacks dont count,is more like some conflict but not like a war

Oh Jesus, I dunno. Maybe he took issue with the fact that you called his friend (a soldier fighting in Iraq) a pussy, Einstein.

I don't blame him for reacting the way he did.

.
I was kind of drunk last night and fired off an unwarranted attack on what I saw as your perception of military life , and slagging people of as pussies , I apologies for my personnel comments.
Having said that you are not correct.
It is unlikely you have more military experience than me, since you aren’t or never have been in the military and stating that soldiers would agree with your view is also incorrect.
The military people I know and still maintain contact with would totally disagree with your view that not wishing to lay down your life in foreign wars is in anyway a sign of cowardice or being a pussy.
There are many reasons why people would join the services, I could list them but as you would already know joining the forces, for the single reason of wishing to fight wars is way down the list. There are people that do this, I admit but they are the exception to the rule rather than the norm.

I am sorry for calling your friend a pussy. From what you said earlier, i thought he only was in for a year and was trying to get out becuase he didnt agree with the war. Some of my friends are currently deployed in Iraq. One just came back and is hooked on alcohol. War changes people.

Baxter, all of my friend who are currently serving overseas now (7 to be exact) all agree with what i said. We had discussed this before they left. And yes, you generally dont join to fight in war. Like i said, getting heli training and staying in the Army as a career is what i want to do. If i can't, i can be a heli pilot as a civilian.

Ok here is my main point. I don't agree with the war and i never did. But now that we are over there we are gonna have to deal with it. We cannot just pull out now, we would end up screwing opurselves over even more now. Instead of bitching about it, lets figure out a way to end the conflict and get our troops back safely.

thank you, and your right, I've noticed just how much war does change people personally as well.

The #1 reason you join probably wouldnt be to fight in a war, your #1 expectation, on the other hand, should be. Anticipate the worst going in.

This has degraded into personal attacks.
