MGS 4 coming to 360? (A Horrible, dirty and filthy lie)

I'm sure there's some Sony bashing to get out of this. All the more reason for me to pick up a 360 too.

Which is going to happen a lot once word of this spreads to the PS3 camp.

More 360 fanboys... even though MGS2 came out on the Xbox and 3 would've too but they couldn't be bothered because of the sales of MGS2.
 
Need better confirmation, not just a Konami rep telling some game website(one i've never heard of) off the record

Funny I would have though the entertainment value from any of the games available on the platform at time of purchase would have been that justification. Meanwhile now we're going to have a load of people trying to throw this in Sony fanboys faces at every opportunity. That's just great more fuel for the ever stupid console battle.

betcha if this true xbox360 owners will not buy it and will say that "its japanese so is pure anime whit girls whit cat ears and stuff like that"

I don't play the MGS series so I'm still prolly getting a PS3.

Yeah you're completely right. Not being able to play MGS4 has been abit of a concern though but now that's completely out of the window. One year later, sure, but it still means I'll get to play it. :) I have nothing against the PS3 except that I couldn't afford it, so I got a 360 :)

I'm wondering why is everybody so excited about MGS4. Why, do pissing and mooing Metal/Organic Gears have such appeal?
 
MGS is pretty overrated, but 4 will still be a good game. No matter how crappy the writing.

I didn't like mgs3 and mgs4 hasn't really impressed me so far.
That said I loved everything mg before that,
mg is one the best series around
so it's great news and more reason for me to buy a 360.
 
The only thing I'm not keen on with MGS is the awful narrative. Kojima can't tell a story for shit. But the games are really enjoyable. I also quite liked MGS3.
 
I always thought the MGS stories were well presented and told, guess its just opinion.

Bioshock has set the new bar at any rate.

But still, MGS games have always been a fave of mine. This is good news.
 
Yeah I think the MGS stories are good just not told very well.

And when you get plots like MGS 2 it can be quite tricky. Actually MGS 2 is one the games I have finished the most over and over again just to make sure I understood the story. :|
 
MGS is full of wonderfully rich narrative, with an interesting and meaningful story beneath.
That gives you something to think about for while, especially mgs2.
 
I think it's the way that he presents and tells it which is poor.
 
Sounds like bullshit, but either way consoles are the cancer that are killing video games.
 
It's not confirmed, here's the previously mentioned press item. It remains a rumor until an official statement is made.

Thank's for the productive if complelty inane and pointless input to the thread. I myself fail to see how releasing a game on two consoles, therefore appealing to two huge areas of seperate audiences, can be a bad thing and in any way come close to the scope of 'killing' video games when in fact it is bringing more games to more people who prefer different consoles to others, but okay! :thumbs:

EDIT: If this is true than it's very cool news. I wasn't as hyped for MGS4 in the first place, and to be honest I'm not jumping for joy now, but nearer the time it'll be nice to have the opputunity to play it.
 
I think the Gametrailers servers are going to explode.

How could you miss the point in one sentence? Thats impressive.

I never said MGS4 going to the Xbox360 was bad...I said I don't care either way because consoles are killing video games.
