Man, not having anymore exams rocks. I get to do **** all and not feel guilty about not revising. No wait, thats what I've been doing for the last three weeks anyway.

:D

Sobriety is severely boring.
..

I used to think that, but now I think that if you aren't doing any thing fun, then of course life is boring. I mean, fun is fun, whether you are ripped or not.

I think the main downer you are feeling is withdrawal. I used pot for many many years before I just got bored of it. I had very serious withdrawal from marijuana. Shakes and everything. I found that lasted about 2 years before I got over it, despite all the hippies that will tell you pot is not addictive (yet they admit they will use it until they die...isn't that ... addiction?)

BTW alcohol doesn't stay in your system very long I don't think. Why not become an alcoholic like your dad? (just kidding). Alcohol is legal at least.

Weed for me was just an expensive vice and more often than not, I had a bad high. (angry, breaking things, weird shit happening, losing things, getting in trouble, bad relationships).

Maybe you should give it up too - though it's not easy if all your friends do it. But one day you will realize that most of your friends aren't really your friends, and even best friends won't be around forever. One day you come back to getting along with and appreciating family, or die alone.

Hope that is helpful

I CAN HAS QUESTION?!

What are balaclavas called that don't have the eyeslot, but you can still see through them?

I feel like I've missed out on this thread. With the last misc, I was kinda always there, from the beginning. I've missed so much of this one, and it's growing faster than I want to read. I felt a faint connection with the other.

Also, I have not yet posted in Image Dump. Also, I'm never going to tell you about this girl.

Well, I haven't smoked de ganja in about a month (drug testing keeps me from it), but yeah, you've pretty much nailed it. I've got two sets of friends atm, my friends that aren't really friends at all, but are just a great bunch of peoples to get toasted with, and then actual friends that are cool and supportive people. Guess which group is in surplus?

I'm just bored with life right now. I flitter in and out of hobbies, and this is sorta my new one. Hopefully it'll just twinkle out and die, and i'll lose interest in it, but for the time being, i'm having too much fun to be bound by this stupid ****ing testing regiment.

My family is worthless and basically nonexistent. Uncles and cousins I never really see or speak with, my mom, who I don't care very much for (I won't go so far as to be an angsty bitch and say I hate her), and my degenerate grandmother whom I avoid at all costs. I consider my actual ACTUAL friends to be my true family, they basically raised me.

I'll stop there. Anything more and i'll turn to being a bitchy writhing attention whore.

It's called Social Disassociation Theory. Virutally equates to: if your friends commit crime or use drugs; their influence on your person will allow you to feel more comfortable with doing the same.

Hope you kick the addiction sinko, give it your all mate.

Dunno, but he was last active about 10 days ago.

And with that, it's time for bed...

Hey you know what's super awesome and is really actually a lot of fun?

Insomnia.

I can't really drink. I'm on Zoloft, so alcohol destroys me.

I will however smoke copious amounts of marijuana at a later date this week to compensate.

So, ah, what was Chernobyl?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_Accident

If you can't be bothered reading the article, here's a summary:
Through a series of screw-ups by the Energy Department of the time, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded in April 1986 from pressurized steam and extreme heat caused by a poorly designed reactor and numerous operator errors (chief among them turning off safety systems :frown:). The death toll continues to grow as former residents of Pripyat die from radiation poisoning. It is probably the single most widely-known civilian nuclear disaster.

highlander's sig is an empty claim - he wasn't even born then.

The Hl2.net Chernobyl Incident you ass

AFAIK the claim that there was substantial operator error was partly (if not largely) a fabrication of the Soviet investigation into the incident, which, in blaming the problems narrowly on "human error", sought to cover up the part of organisation and bureaucracy in the disaster. It is not just that the reactor design was deficient - it was that these deficiencies were overlooked or intentionally ignored because of mismanagement and disorganisation (for example, few people in the plant had any experience with nuclear power). The uncritical pressures of Soviet bureaucracy created a culture of back-covering, whereby the problems of the reactor model were not properly considered, and, when it became apparent something had gone wrong, nobody wanted to actually inform the higher-ups because they'd probably lose their own jobs over it (hence the assumption that radiation readings were only a little bit off the scale).

Was born in 1986 so you could call me a child of Chernobyl hehe :D Heard a lot about it in the news as i was growing up, but it didn't any sense. Parents talked about it a lot. Meh, don't really give a shit.

oh boy, last cigarette(s).

Quitting... This'll be fun :|
