Every year I work at a cub scout day camp, which I've been attending since '98. First I went as a scout for a few years, and have been staff ever since. Last year, however, a new guy was put in charge or everything, and he's a total dillhole.
Basically, there's two sites- Hermes and Kennedy Grove. The Hermes leader retired (to my dismay) and the two administrations joined together, so now we switch off campsites every year, starting last year when the camp was held at Kennedy Grove, and this year it'll be at Hermes. Anyway, as to why the guy is an ass-
He's age-ist, mostly. He thinks anybody under the age of twenty is incapable of doing anything right. For instance, I was helping to put some big tarps over the role call area because it was going to rain or soemthing (a really stupid idea anyway, guess who thought of it) and I was tying ropes to the trees nearby to hold 'em up, then he goes by and says, not directly to me, but to somebody else obviously so I could hear, "Waht, a boy scout can't tie a clover hitch?" (it wasn't actually a clover hitch, but I can't remember what knot it was) and I'm like, okay, ass, I already tied four of them carrying out your dumbass idea while you were yelling at the rest of the youth staff for no reason.
Also, at Hermes there would always be muffins and bagels and stuff for all the staff to eat in the lodge if they wanted, including the youth staff. So at Kennedy, they had muffins and stuff laid out, and some of the youth were helping themselves during off time or whatever, and he goes absolutely apeshit on them, telling them they're wasting money and food, it's not for them, it's for the adult leaders, why weren't they working, blah blah.What the hell, why not? Because you guys don't work as hard as the adult staff. Yeah? **** you.
The last day of camp, they were handing out awards and shit. I had been running an activity that day which was obviously over because all the cubs were wit their dens waiting for their patches and whatnot. I was standing over by where the prizes were, checking them out, because some of them were genuinely cool. And the guy comes over to me and starts yelling at me for getting into stuff and not doing my work like I was supposed to. At this point I was tired of him, so I wandered around until they called my name to get my little package for being staff (a patch, a little flashlight, and a coin trick book with the goddamn two-headed quarter removed. wtf? all the staff got the same thing, and they all had had their quarters taken out of their books.) I walked up, took it, didn't shake hands, and left the camp. But not before I pilfered about five ropes, a cardboard standup of johnny depp, twenty bucks worth of novelty prizes, and a pirate flag. Yeah, **** you asshole.

Luckily, I heard he's not in charge this year. Otherwise I'd go and just **** everything up for the camp.
 
I'd actually like misc threads to be closed. It's just spam and a way for newbies to get their post counts up.

I'd like to see more quality posting in hl2.net, this just gives the wrong impression.
 
It would be a waste for me to open a new thread for a post like the one I just made, especially when I could just post it in here.
 
Earlier in the year, my friend pulled a prank on me, so i got him back today but putting a masterlock on his locker so he couldn't open it. It was a triumph.

You should make it a huge puzzle to find the unlocking code that lasts all week. Drop him clues in the form of cut-out letters glued on paper like a ransom note. It'd be like the Riddler in batman.
 
I just read about the history of the PMRC and facepalmed 20 times. Also, now I hate Gore by proxy.

Hey , im no newbie! wait... yeah your right.

But still we can post about stuff no one cares about and make it feel like people actually care.
