MySpace Killed Someone

It being non-obligatory is completely irrelevant. No one really wants to die- the will to live is too strong in us. Rather, they're looking for a way out- they're not tired of being alive, they're tired of being unhappy, or misunderstood, or cold, or whatever. Needless to say, you don't make a decision like that in a rational state of mind.

absinthe is right as rain here. that guys a tool with a capital T. im glad he's dead.

most of his emo friends are probably just like him and will kill themselves soon. i HATE emo's, and when a self professed young man who likes (liked, since he shot his brains out) "girls that cry" dies i really dont give two shits from a cats behind. the only unfortunate thing is that he didnt kill some of his loser friends too.

i dont feel for his relatives because they let this imbecile come into existence and kill himself.

i dont feel for his friends because they are just as big of tools are he is.

/end spiteful and horrific post

as having a friend commit suicide 2 years ago i know that it is selfish to take yourself away from your whole family, just think how much time and effort that they had put into your life, from my perspective suicide is just a slap in the face to all of your family and friends. it was his retarded thought to kill himself and for that i have no respect for him what-so-ever, but all of my respect goes out to his family that have to put up with this shit-head's mistake

sure they will blame videogames for that

"It is OBVIOUS DooM is completely responsible for this poor boy's death. He trained for months on DooM, which has unparallelled wrist cutting abilities and gameplay that have been unrivaled for over a decade."

Holy shit, I remember hearing/seeing that damn song all the time when I was like 13.
What's the name of it what's the name of it what's the name of it

I wanna know D:

I can't remember. D:

I can send that link to some of my Euro friends though. They'll undoubtedly know since some of them listen to Happy Hardcore for laughs.

Happy hardcore... I listen to that if I want to be annoyed.:p

When I say "for laughs" I mean "when they're piss drunk". :|

I guess that's when their rave instincts go unchecked and they dance to anything.

So, when your friends are piss drunk, they listen to annoying music? You either need to find new friends, or have them lay off the hooch.

When they're drunk, I'm drunk, we're all drunk, and we all don't care. Then we make rotations between happy hardcore, hardcore, darkcore, and gabber.

The morning after, I go back to IDM, they go back to rock, and we all feel somewhat ashamed.

Now that is trash.

Actually, I know the feeling. When we are all drunk, I inflict showtunes upon my friends (unless if drunk at the clubs, but I'm going to regret this post at some point in the future). Then, in the morning I go back to my ever trusty progressive trance and etc.

edit: So, has this thread been officially derailed?

No, because emo is also a music genre

Yes, but it shouldn't be. Except for Postal Service. Other than that, they should be strung up by their heels.

HAHA, guys go over to ytmnd.com, there are absolutely hilarious fads of this emo kid coming out every second

1. Myspace had nothing to do with his suicide.
2. You guys are stupid retarded dicks for celebrating.

What a wonderful community you people really are.

Man, I remember when the members at HL2.net didn't suck.

Have fun jerkin it under the keyboard to your own dumbass remarks, you're all morons. :D

I can understand that others fell pity for the guy, but really, that's exactly what he wanted: attention and pity from strangers - and notoriety in death. Why else would he broadcast this online?

It's the world's most excessive form of emotional manipulation, and I refuse to be sucked into it.
Pitying the guy is support for this suicide, and that is not a healthy message to broadcast to the angsty teens of the world.

Agreed.

I feel for his family and friends but not for him.

one thing is that this is the second case of a death "caused" by a website
maybe this will be the next parents comunity fad?

At least he had the balls to do it, not like these pansies that break down and cry and ghey stuff like that, blah ;[

man i was really suprised at some of your opinons, are you all ****ing jackasses? have you ever had depression, nothing goes through your head right and no matter what you just feel like empty. I'm not trying to justify him killing himself, but i can sympathize a little bit. I personally don't really like emo music (mcr is ok i guess) or attention for that matter, but some of these comments are just ****ing pathetic, and i've lost a lot of respect for you people. This was a real kid for god's sake, and the fact that he went through with it is a horrible thing. **** anyone who says different. If he was going to kill himself im sad he didn't at least take of some of you with him.

It's not a horrible thing. Some people just don't feel like living anymore. *shrug* And I can laugh at them.

Cry about it.

Yeah, I've had depression. Yeah, I've felt suicidal. Then I snapped out of it because I realized I was being a stupid selfish twit with delusions of being sympathetic.
He had nothing to be depressed about. Oh boohoo, trivial complications with a female just utterly destroyed his fine life at the age of 17. Excuse me if I'm not touched.

If you want to coddle a selfish dead guy's emotions, then so be it. Don't expect everybody else to play along.

People that have suffered real tragedies - been actually pushed to the edge - are far more deserving of sympathy than somebody who has flushed their life down the tube (at the expense of others) over a teen sweetheart.

I am quite mature, actually. So mature that I know death is a part of life.

This is true, nobody wants to die. So either you havent faced a whole bunch of serious problems or been affected by a suicide, i can tell you, there has been rape and beatings around me, and suicides too, and it sucks more than you can imagine, and i feel sympathy for eveyone who comits suicide, and theyre families. I have depression myself, and a few other disorders (agoraphobia ftw !) but I won't kill myself for the fact that I am at least sane enough to know there are people that care and i dont want to hurt them, and i wont give up on myself. but seriously, grow the **** up, loss of life isn't really funny at all.

EDIT -

and what if you had killed yourself before you came to your senses?

EDIT on EDIT - and who sayd it was about a girl, i know they said that and "among other things" i dont think they would disclose his personal life or much other than that, you don't know unless your there

I beg to differ, loss of life can be downright hilarious in the proper time and place.

But this isn't funny (even though I gave a small chuckle at his <3 signoff). This is just pathetic.

You:

"OMG! I just read about dead people! And they used to be living! I'm going to go cry and feel emotional and depressed! I want everyone else to cry and feel emotional and depressed, too... :("

Me:

"lol n00bs"

Doesn't getting upset over every little thing get tiresome to you?

maybe fake loss of like (ex: flash animations, movies) but i agree this is pathetic, but for those of you sayin "emo die, yayx0rz" or "go myspace kill em all" they need to grow up, god damn.

EDIT - and i dont get pissed at every thing, i get pissed when people say "yay he's dead, im teh celebrate now !" that pisses me off, death is natural. being a jackass about it is not
