I like the Olympics, it's pretty cool...but i'm just not that into it simply because there is just too many things going on at once and without one main thing, it's really hard to become passionate or really care all that much about the Olympics. Not like the world cup, or superbowl or stanley cup or anything...all of those are much more meaningful to me because it's focusing on one sport and one goal.

Usually I know before hand what I will and wont watch so I kind of schedule my Olympic viewing around that. You just gotta find what sport is happening and when and watch then.
 
I love gymnastics, diving and most track and field events. They're showing way too much swimming, imo. Just that'll give way to track and field most likely.
 
So China, USA, then... who? Medal Tally wise.

This has got to be by far the worst coverage of the Olympics that i have seen in my life. NBC should be ****ing ashamed. God, how much i miss Euro Sport.

I haven't been watching or anything, (not that I really care anyways) but according to what I heard on the radio the other day, China's crushing everybody:

China- 14 gold medals
USA- 3 gold medals
England- 2 gold medals
Australia- 2 gold medals

I guess it's a no-brainer, since China officials probably threaten to execute any althletes that doesn't win.
 
The swimming guys keep breaking records on every new heat. It's those new suits.
 
Next Olympics they're going to make Phelps race against marine animals.

Phelps will break the 100m free world record by 30 seconds and come in 9 secs faster than a dolphin.

Screw China and their gymnastic team. They are clearly underage. Some of them look about 10. One of them is 4'5" and weighs 68 lbs...right.

Silver's great, though. And all this "controversy" about the age thing is stupid. I understand all the technicalities, but they have less experience than you and less training. Plus it adds insult to injury... the US team just got beat by twelve year olds. And that walrus guy needs subtitles.
 
I haven't been watching the Olympics. Provide some pics of what you guys are talking about? All I've seen are the male chinese gymnasts and they look like adults.

Gymnasts say it's all about flexibility. I read an article where the idea age for a gymnast is 12-15 because the body is so flexible during that time.
