Olympics

Just finished watching the 6 hour cycling mens road race. Spain for the gold, Italy silver, and Switzerland with the bronze. Luxembourg with 4th and I think an Australian got 5th. It was a very close race between the top 3.

I'm watching USA vs Greece mens basketball. Such a great game. Half time now.

It looks like USA is going to destroy Greece, but you never know. Lots of fouls for USA so far but they have a good lead.
 
Quarterfinal of the Womens Taekwondo was some funny shit.

I half expected all the Chinese to go on a Kung Fu rampage.

So I'm watching diving right and there's like 14 year old kid up there. And the commentator was like, "well, he looks kinda cute up there." Awkward silence for ten seconds. Made me lol.

Age can make quite a difference in some of these competitions. Younger gymnasts often have the advantage of being more lightweight and flexible, albeit at the increased risk of hurting themselves.

So... yeah, it matters.

First B-ball game I seen since MJ left, and the US beats Spain for the Gold! Not to mention it being live till 430 am, no problemo on near end vacation time for me.

They were cool, but I was cooking a late dinner while they were on, so I was in and out of the room a lot.
