Hey everyone, I am new, fresh and contain no toxins or spoilers.
I am a preload sympathizer.

Why did they say it was going to come out monday?
Why not just say teusday and release it tonight
and have that extra buffer time.
 
I think it was cruel to release that pathetic update without telling us the preload was cancled first, got our poor sad pathetic halflife hearts pumping and then crushed em :(

BULL F**KING SHITE. I have to vent. I honestly don't get this mad often but GIVE ME A BREAK.

I have waited over a year through multiple DELAYS just to sit here and wait while CSs GET's updates. I DIDN't BUY CScz Because it's a friggen overrated PATCH. I didn't buy a 9800 because I can't afford to buy the top of the line video cards just for a HL2 voucher.

I don't want to sit around and get manipulated by this company that keeps toying with our emotions. YES we understand that you have a great game. We want to buy it from you. We like what you do but that doesn't mean you can F-ing delay every solid or semi-solid date you SET!

AARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH My brain is gonna EEEEEeeeeexplode!

I ranted but don't you guys feel the same way?
 
no offense by why the #$# is valve updated a beta to a mod for source before releasing the damn original game

Nope, I just know how they handle things. I've been a moderator at several sites, and that's just the way it is. :)
 
Seriously it isnt even much of an update. Got rid of two annoying little bits of the game that didnt affect gameplay much, if at all. Didnt fix any of the crashes either from the sound of things. Pretty lame.

Ok, I'm not pleased with Valve too. This is the third time they've delayed the preload for no good reason, which leads me to believe that they are misleading us to the status of the game's completion.

But keep in mind people, it's just textures and models. It's not like they've delayed the game (yet.......)

they should have stuck to "when its done." policy, instead of this bull sh*t they keep feeding us. It would have been more clean. These guys suck at PR.
