Pineapple Express - 8/10...

Finally got around to seeing it, pretty damn funny... definitely ALOT better than Superbad.

Tropic Thunder > it for the summer comedy movie of the year though.

Gladiator - Still awesome/10 - Saw it in 720p this time, was so clear! Still enjoyed it loads too.

Shoot 'Em Up - 347298y45t6t74236/10

Were those letters in the rating? Who the ****ing **** cares, this movie deserves it.

The Kingdom - 8/10

A very good watch all-around, a felt character development was rather rushed though.

Demolition Man - 9/10

Some great quotes and fun action scenes! Great story...blah blah blah WIN!

Good Night and Good Luck - 9/10

I haven't seen a bad movie in a while.

The 13th Floor - 8/10

Interesting movie with a twist.
It's a Roland Emmerich movie and surprisingly no patriotic shit...

2001: A Space Odyssey

Saw it for the first time today. Yeah, I know... I'm late. I'm not going to give it a rating because as of now, my reaction is a huge "what the heck?!"

Dawn of Man part: cool
HAL stuff: cool
Even the stuff with the black thing and the creepy music: weird but okay
The stuff at the end with the trippy lights and the house: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE

It's the Star Gate transforming David Bowman to the next stage of humanity's evolution forcefully. This transition is represented by the hotel room, among other things.

Ohhhh. Thanks. I totally did not get that, but now it makes sense. I'm slow.

Seeing dark knight again tomorrow, because no place that's not in San Francisco is playing Hellboy 2 :(

Hell Boy 2 - 5/10
The plot is all over the place and the acting is rather bad at times. The film did not have me interested at any point. Also, the princess is an idiot.
All she had to do was challenge the prince's right to lead the army and he wouldn't have been able to fight her as he's just kill himself

Get Smart - 7/10
I had low expectations for this, but it turned out to be much funnier than I had anticipated. Turned out to be very good. Though the plot isn't fantastic it is funny all the way through and to add a nice twist to the idea, Max is actually quite a good agent.

Dirty Harry - 9/10

Ahhhh old movies. This one was quite entertaining.

Next up: The Day the Earth Stood Still

dark knight-9/10

I'm afeared I may have gone and made it overplayed for myself. It's still amazing though.

Want to see a magic trick?
I'm going to make this pencil disapear!
*slams Lefty's head into the pencil*
Tadaaa
(Pardon if it's not word for word)

Wall-E - 10/10

Seriously, one of my favourite Pixar movies now. It blew me away, both the technical acheivements, and the superb story and method of conveying feelings and intentions (there is very little coherent conversation, and only after two thirds does it begin). Oh, and its too damn cute.

Seven - god damn man, this was absolutely brilliant. 10/10, as much as I want to give it 7.

Extremely clever, from the killer's plot and its credible religious overtones, through the contrast between Brad Pitt's pop culture references and Morgan Freeman's command of literature (the script knows what it's talking about) and the clever connections between the murders (Greed was Sloth's lawyer) to the way the rainy cinematography, the brutality of the murders, and the desperate, yearning characters (especially Gwyneth's fantastic "I don't want to bring a child into this world" scene) combine to create the unnamed City as a nexus of sin and despair, where apathy is as murderous as wrath: the pit of Hell itself.

Adaptation: 6/10
I dunno. It didn't grab me, and the little scenes of Being John Malcovich made me want to be watching that instead.

Weeds - Season 2 - 9/10...
Highlarious, I don't regret buying the show on DVD at all.
$60 well spent.

Death Race- 6/10

The cars were cool and all, but it was stupidly predictable. Well, it was a Jason Statham Movie after all. Alothugh Ian McShane was Aucking Fwesome

Continuing the old movie run...

The Day the Earth Stood Still - 9.5/10

I actually liked this one a lot... surprisingly good. Didn't have any long boring sequences like in some other old sci-fi movies (like Soylent Green...); the spaceship came right at the beginning so no drawn-out background stuff. I liked the straightforward way they delivered the message at the end.

The Bank Job - 8/10

Take away the martial arts from Jason Stathom and he's a surprisingly good actor :D! Good movie!

Underworld 2 - Lame/10

Shitehouse movie made with zero premise that only men that have never been with a women watch religiously and profess to like openly. Very, very poor. Only good thing is seeing the protagonist naked.

I thought it was entertaining. :|

College - 7.5/10...
Pretty funny but most of it's been done before.

Nah man, it got predictable to quickly. Kinda turned me off :( Felt that there was only a small purpose to the movie. Poor direction perhaps. There was no sense of drive.

The Strangers - 4/10

Poor excuse for a scary film, another added to the tally of films that fail to scare me in anyway. Waste of money.

american beauty 9/10 ****ing brilliant and Kevin Spacey was brilliant :)

The Mummy 3 - 6/10

Ridiculous scenes (yetis...really?) and really poor CGI ruined this film. Then again, the overall story wasn't that great either.

code geass r2 21 12/10

I mean it best episode of the best anime EVER!! :D
