That documentary surprised me. I was figuring it was going to be another source on the bad effects of steroids when, in most parts, it was pro-steroid use. It was an interesting viewpoint that is rarely heard.

Bowling For Columbine: 7/10
Look, all documentaries are biased. If they weren't there would be no reason to make one. A filmmaker has a goal, an issue, a problem and they want to address this while providing proof for their side. Most of Michael Moore's documentaries include a lot of theatrics which really lowers the score, imo. The movie also does not really bringing up new issues that hasn't been covered before. I wish he went more into detail with his points. He goes to Canada to find out why Canada has a lower death rate by firearms even though gun usage is about equal with the US... but he never really answers it. But overall, it's a good watch.

Where're we going with this?

IMO, you've at least got to try and not be horribly biased though. Otherwise you'll just end up preaching to the choir, because people on the opposite side of the fence won't give you any credence.

Godzilla - 8/10

Really enjoyed it even though the CGI is rather out of date now lol, loved the humor in it.

Art School Confidential - 9/10

It was a very well put together movie with some surprisingly good characters. Also, some of the actors involved seemed out of place in this movie, but they fit in perfectly. I love it!

Holy shit, go easy there man. You don't want to run out of 1's.

code geass r2 25 (finale)

single. greatest. anime. ever made.

And I admit I cried ;(

If I said anymore it would spoil it :p Most of the fun from code geass comes from the cliffhangers at the end of episodes. Basically if you combined Gundam, death note and v for vendetta together this is what you would get. :)

I imagine my opinion isn't that popular (alot of others would say the same right now though) it makes a change from the usual choice like bebop or NGE. Also some places like 2chan right now are freaking over the last episode (in good ways and bad) :)

OMFG I love 4chan look what this guy is saying about Ep25

Alright ******s, Lelouche is a failure, and here is why:

-Africa still sucks ass and probably has ethnic war.
-There are still Jews in Europe (never had a holocaust yet) thus, they covertly rule the world.
-The Muslims are probably like "WTF IS THIS SHIT!"
-"Holy" Britannian Empire is gonna get ****ed over.
-Nunnally doesn't have the power to rule, revolution is inevitable, by those nobles who didn't get geassed. (most nobles that liked Lelouche were geassed into liking him.
-The EU is hella poor due to Schizy's whoop ass on them, and their also bound by treaties that blame them for warfare. Sound familiar?
-China has most of it's population in poverty, and China loli has no idea how to rule. Young Mao, here he comes.
-Ougi is a **** up.
-Russia. Enough said.
-FLEIA or whatever is probably being developed by all nations now. Note that FLEIA doesn't have radiation.
-There are now God mechs.
-The world is forced into the "perfect" world that Lelouche envisioned. For every hero created, there will always be those that despise their legacy.

****ing ace XD

I think it was confirmed by the writers the show was over after season 2 there wouldn't be anymore.

also my 2 cents

although it pains me to say it I think lelouch is dead

Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog 9/10

Finally got around to watching it

WHY THE **** DID THEY HAVE TO KILL PENNY? GOD ****ING **** DAMMET!

Shadow Company
It's documentary about PMC's mostly from the PMC side, yet it comes off to me as being the most
honest and evenhanded look on the subject. It kicks ass.

Murderball
Documentary about the quad rugby, and the rivalry between team USA and Canada, on rotten
tomatoes it's takes he top spot for sports movies, but I thought it was pretty boring, also paraplegics
are ****ing mean.

Death Proof - 10/10.

Holy shit that was the most fun I've had watching a film in so so long.

Mean Creek
F*ck this shit I hate films that exploit me WHY AM I WATCHING THIS AT MIDNIGHT oh god it's so intense.

But pretty good.

Death Proof - 10/10.

Holy shit that was the most fun I've had watching a film in so so long.

That was probably the slowest movie ever, it just had a bunch of trailer trash sluts talking about their sex lives for the like the first 45 minutes.
But, yeah... when Kurt actually starts kicking ass gets really fun.
6/10 from me.

Iron Man - 8.5/10...
Awesome, bought it on blu-ray and watched it on my brand new PS3.
Sweet mother of Christ... my eyes experienced a visual orgasm.
I wish I would have got a blu-ray player sooner.

Sweepers 3/10

Somekinda b-movie starring invincible iDolph iLundgren. Sucka plot and really boring 3 half made this movie shite.

So a masked vigilante robot is attempting to overthrow the government by writing the names of corrupt politicians in a mysterious notebook?

1408 - 9.5/10

I jumped out of my chair once or twice from terror. It was a brilliantly made movie with plenty of twists that will have you saying "WTF?!" through out, but then come and explain it for you.

No a masked vigilante with a mysterious power called geass is attempting to overthrow the government while both sides fight with robots :p

Dan in Real Life - Eh/10

Got about half way through. Seemed "okay" in a "put you right to ****ing sleep" kind of way. Too bad Steve Carrell has eternally pigeon-holed himself as the shy, well-humoured intellectual guy (except for Anchorman).

Eagle Eye - 6.5/10...
Started out really awesome, incredibly tense... then it just got incredibly ridiculous.

Batman Begins: 7/10

It's good. A good opener, a good origins story, but it has such specific problems that I find myself irritated every single time I watch it. My main problem is Gotham City. Nolan was testing the waters, and he couldn't decide what to veer towards in terms of style and Gotham comes out a jumbled, uninteresting mess because of it. You have the metropolis we see so vividly in The Dark Knight, but you also have the Narrows – a relatively cool idea, but ruined by its almost cyberpunk/Hong Kong nature – in the middle of the goddamned city, along with Arkham Asylum which simply lacks vision and scope in its design. The city is so claustrophobic and uninspired.

It wants to be the perfect merger of realism and comic-book – the perfection that TDK is – but simply can't remain consistent in either. It lacks such substance. Rha's scheme is downright silly and his use of Scarecrow so arbitrary and undeveloped. The whole idea of vigilanteism, and the limits you need to go, are an absolutely awesome beginning, but they're explored in a naive fashion toward the end. Arguably the film should have been more mob-focused like Year one and The Long Halloween; Scarecrow could have still easily existed within the realms of the storyline as Arkham's Warden and chief 'freak' villain, and Rha's could have utilized the more sinister scheme of burning the city apart by fueling the corruption and crime that he so hates to a breaking point. It would have been so much stronger because of it; where Rha's attempts to plunge it further into anarchy and chaos until it extinguishes itself, Batman moves to pull it out of the pit to give it a chance at redemption. Very awesome themes, but explored far too literally.

Rachel Dawes in this movie sucks. She really sucks. She is such a pretentious, self-righteous bag of shite that I'm going to go watch TDK just to see her explode. Hats off to you, Joker. Hats off to you. We also don't even get to see their relationship prior to the Batman thing, and the whole “man I loved” is never explored to the extent it should have been – never. As such, it loses much of its weight in a scene Nolan and Goyer apparently felt was necessary to fulfill the movie.

What else can I complain about. Oh! Loeb/Flass, corruption – not explored enough, merely touched upon. Unacceptable. Oh, and dramatic irony. Goyer sucks, he really does. He feels there needs to be an ironic line of dialogue every 5 seconds and it is my opinion that he does indeed need to discover the meaning of subtle.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - 9/10, maybe 9.5/10

Blindness - 4/10

Honestly, I thought it sucked. It took probably half an hour to actually get to the infection. About an hour or so of the film was spent in quarantine, then the last half hour they broke out to basically find the end of the world, except it was still heavily populated with blind savages...wont expose the ending, but overall I thought the movie was terrible. I wouldve demanded a refund had anybody been left behind the counters (movie ended just after midnight)...

Batman Begins: 7/10

<blah>
God... god damnit. And I had avoided spoilers for this long. :(

I guess it's pretty inexcusable to still be a TDK-virgin at this point in time though...

Edit - Death at a Funeral - 6/10

Starts pretty slow, picks up around the middle and then ends far too abruptly. Still pretty amusing... besides the music, which made me want to strangle the composer with his own feces.

FECES.

Eagle Eye - 6/10.
Starts as a pretty good thriller, gets a bit silly.

The Kingdom - 7/10
Starts as a pretty good action movie. Remains. Solid.

History Boys - 7/10
Good, but lacking something to make it great

Mulholland Drive
- 10/10
watwatwatwatwatOHMYGODITWASADREAMwatwat

Brick
- 8/10
Stylish, held my attention.

Resident Evil 2:6/10

Starts good, but in the middle gets lame and repetive. And the ending is overstreched. It should have ended right after the explosion.
