Burn after Reading - 8.5/10 - Osbourne Cox? I thought you might be worried... about the security... of your shit.

Holy **** Brad Pitt getting killed reminded me of No Country for Old Men

Quantum of Solace: 8.5/10.

Lots of action but it lacked some of the traditional Bond stuff. Stuff like Q, Bond getting his jiggy on like 5 times, and the traditional Bond theme (i only ever heard it played during the credits?), and some of the story i didn't understand.

Agreed. I think this is what Scary/Epic/Date/Superhero/Bullshit Movie keeps trying for but failing ridiculously.

Airplane's good too.

Exactly, some with the "stupid" humor type movies would be Wrongfully Accused & Spy Hard, just to name some but probably not well known movies. Austin Powers and Anchorman has a little bit of that "stupid" humor.

I know, I didn't see it coming at all. Several minutes of close-up, tense shots of Brad Pitt in the closet, and then BOOM HEADSHOT! goodbye Brad.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall - 8/10

These guys can keep making movies forever, all of them have been great.

Quantum of Solace : 9/10

Plot isnt as good as Casino Royal, but I think the overall quality and action make up for it. Definitely feels like a middle movie, but doesnt really suffer for it I dont think. I know others disagree. And I'm glad they're getting rid of some of the old Bond stuff. Frankly, I dont care for softcore porn in my action movies like the older ones had. Although I think the omission of Q was a disappointment. Also, I liked the bond intros from the older movies way better. I mean, yeah, I dont like softcore porn in my action movies, but I did tend to prefer trippy erotic intros over clover shooting pistols and an entire intro of Daniel Craig holding a pistol and walking around. Seriously, that was just like "I'm Daniel Craig and this movie is all about me because I'm a bad ass, see how bad ass I am holding this pistol! And here I am again in the same pose walking in a new direction, damn I'm bad ass. To prove it I'll continue doing this pistol holding thing for another three minutes and throw in about 3 seconds of women in random spots just so you forget how bad ass i am and then are reminded a second later when you see me holding a pistol again"

In fact, I think its safe to say I hated that intro. You know what..

Quantum of Solace: 8.5/10

Taken: 8.5/10

For a movie I'd never heard of, it was awesome. I figured it would be a cheesy action movie, but it was way more badass than I expected.

Avatar: The Last Airbender (the whole thing) - 8/10

Really great, for a kid's show. Much better than I was expecting, especially towards the end, but you can't really shake the feeling that it'd have been a bit better if they didn't have to tippy-toe around adult themes and violence so often. Still, for what it was, they did a pretty admirable job.

Oh, but did it have to be so freakin sappy? Seemed like they couldn't go 10 minutes in season 3 without someone crying or hugging (usually both).
Season 2 was by far the best. 3 got very bogged down in avoiding the obvious adult themes of the show and really pointless side-stories that ignore the main plot, leaving the main plot and final twists too undeveloped.

The Lion King: 9/10

Toy Story: 8/10

Toy Story 2: 8/10

The Fly: 8/10

Donnie Darko: 9/10

Max Payne - 7/10

Very dark and cool film, brilliant use of the visual and audio aspects. Walberg's portrayal of Payne wasn't bad at all really, but did lack a certain edge that the character had over me in the games, that certain gritty, rugged coolness, the voice also played a major part in this decision. The plot was nowhere near as good as the game's interpretation and was missing a lot of the cool villains, and for a film called Max Payne, it was lacking a lot awsome, slo-mo, duel-pistol wielding action.

But still it was a good effort, I thought it was presented brilliantly and I enjoyed it.

Indy and the Crystal Skull - 6/10

Not quite as horrible as some have made it out to be, but still pretty average.

Mad Max - 7/10...
A bit slow and not as wastelandy as I would've liked.

The Road Warrior - gyrocopters/10...
Awesome, epic post-apocalyptic fights ahoy.

Quantum of Solace - 8.1/10

The fact that Gemma Arterton is in this movie redeemed it from the really tragic composition of events.

Watched a ton of movies I had been meaning to see.

Oldboy 9/10

Memento 9.5/10

Blade Runner 9/10

Finally got to see the final cut, I had the theatrical version on DVR but just couldn't enjoy it despite everyone raving about the film. I really enjoyed this though and it still looks great despite its age.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 8/10

Pans Labryinth 8/10

Appleseed Ex Machina - 7/10

Pretty bad-ass, disregarding most of the plot/character development/facial animation.

Little Nicky - 9/10

Sandler at his best. Not only does this film rock as much as its soundtrack (some truly awesome songs are heard in this film), but its actually funny in all its cheesy-ness.

Men In Black - 8/10

You all know it.

Of Mice And Men - 10/10

First watched this in my English class in GCSEs. Truly epic film.

run fatboy run 7/10

an out of shape guy trys to win back his ex girlfriend/run a marathon ..movie had tons of cliches and was totally predictable, however it starred Simon Pegg so that made up for the cliched plot with some lol moments

Fargo - 9/10

No Country for Old Men - 10/10

Burn After Reading - 9/10

A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All 9/10

Hilarious

Alien: Director's Cut- 6.5/10

eh... the sets were very nice, some of the acting was pretty good. But it wasn't scary, and wasn't really interesting.

Oh yeah, that was the first time I've seen Alien.

Madagascar 2 - 8/10

Funnier than the first I thought, the penguins and the lemar king are just so damn funny. Some side splitting lines.

Aliens (some kind of special edition or something) 7.8/10

liked it better.

We're either seeing QoS or Transporter 3 tomorrow. It's gonna be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuun

Vexille - 5/10

Ehhh. Pretty cool in parts, and the premise was great (if ridiculous), but the whole thing just got bogged down by a thick layer of CHEEEEEEEEEEEESE. The characters were all annoying and poorly developed, and like the Appleseed movies, they all moved a bit stiffly and didn't really emote well. The mech suits were totally badass though... too bad they weren't used more.

American Gangster - 8/10

Mah man.

No bonus points for soundtrack?

There were a couple good tracks, but I wasn't overly impressed with it. Appleseed Ex Machina's was pretty awesome, though.

The Sixth Sense - 8.8/10

The first time I actually watched the whole movie from start to finish and I was quite impressed.
