Thirteen - 8.5 to 9/10

really good film, i never saw it before but heard alot about it, great performances by wood and hunter(hunter is just awesome in general), some tough scenes to watch(self harm scenes) but well worth a look.

i knew i recognised Wood's brother in the film from somewhere, then i remember he was one of the leads in Mysterious Skin, the film about the effects of childhood sexual abuse on two boys. Brady Corbet is his name.

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance: 7.5/10

Good revenge, not as good as Oldboy but alot funnier and surprisingly filled with alot of dark humour for a film about murderous revenge.

Jonestown: Life & Death of the Peoples Temple : 8.5/10

Really good documentary about the Jonestown Massacre. Told entirely through footage and audio from Peoples Temple Church sermons and ex-members recounts of the events. Last half hour it really picks up and hurts hard.

Pirates of the Carribean 2: Dead Mans Chest.

80%.
It was funny in places, I just didn't feel it had the bang of the other. Plus, in places it feels like you've missed a whole chunk of movie. Still good.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy sucked ass.. I didn't think it was meant for kids... gay.
1/10 it gets 1 because there was like 1 funny part...

God, amen. I'm a huge, huge diehard of the books, I even went to opening night with a towel, and I ended up walking out. Only one of two movies I've done that with. If you haven't read the book, please do, it's miles above the movie.

Resident Evil 8.938/10

It was a pretty nice movie. It would have been nicer without the black sqaures in the hospital scene. ;)

Ah.... n00b land. The wonderful smell. We have foam on every corner to make sure no n00b hurts himself. We also are born here immune to gun wounds or explosions in case some n00b throws a random grenade into the shitter. Yes. Come and vise n00b land call 1-800-n00b

LOLS:LOL: Sighd

Mr. & Mrs. Smith- 2/10...

Utter shit... Brad Pitt, we're losing you! D:

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - 5/10...

I found it incredibly boring and unfunny tbh, yet alot of ya'll seem to rave about it.

Dream Team 9/10
Not the first time, and not the last time I am going to watch this great movie.
Mr. & Ms. Smith 7/10
Funny, with nice action. Nothing special but a fun way to pass 2 hours nonetheless.

if you liked 13, you should talk to Joule :p

I know a lot of people who liked Thirteen, it's one of the big emo-craze movies at my school.

I didn't like it that much, but whateva.

Office Space 8/10
Always a pleasure to watch.

That's one of those movies that I can just watch over and over. I've probably seen it five or six times.

Dead Man: Good movie, albeit that it was incredibly slow. The cast was awesome, seeing Iggy Pop at that one part was rockin'. Cool movie overall.

The Ant Bully - IMAX Version - 7.5/10

Really good, but to be honest, I probably only enjoyed it so much because it was my first Imax experience. I never knew imax was so cool lol

If you've never been to an Imax movie, I sincerely suggest you try it at least once.

hehe yeah i know how much joule likes thirteen or rather evan rachel wood, he told me about it before over msn awhile ago, he met her too :)

Miami Vice - 6.4/10...
I liked the action sequences, but everything else felt stale.
I was never a fan of Farrell or Foxx, they didn't even feel like they were partners in the movie.
And the camera was rather annoying too...

Overall it was boring... the few action sequences in it were really good though.
Damn deceptive trailer made it look like a damn action movie... D:

Most overrated movie of the year so far?

Pirates of Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest

5/10 - Really lame if you compare it to the first movie. Some stuff were funny, and I really enjoyed the fighting on the wheel and well as some other action stuff, but other than that it was boring.

Irréversible - Easily the most harrowing, disturbing, brutal and twisted movie i've seen. Naked Lunch, Hostel, you name it, all become easy viewing after this. Very powerful, believable and, as a result, at times very hard to watch. 8/10

One of the favorite movies of all time. Masterpiece. BTW hostel was nothing even before this movie. Hostel really is just a kids movie no joke. 10 secs of Gore 1 hour of porn. Goody.

The hills have eyes - 7/10 Rare to come across a decent horror movie theses days. This was way above average.

Creep - So much potential....****ed up this movie so bad...So annoying. 5/10

Venom - LOL if this movie didn't say it was made in 2005 you would thing its a 70's slasher movie. HORRIBLE 2/10

The Ringer - Didn't feel like a comedy, had a few smiles... 5/10

Ronin - Great car chases, great actors. 8/10

The Weather Man - Cool movie, good life movie etc. Good performance by Cage. 7.5/10

Girl, Interrupted - Good movie, nothing much to say 8/10

Sure, I just picked it as it's a recentish movie that quite a few people arond here seemed to have seen.

I didn't really find Naked Lunch THAT disturbing. Maybe it was cause I read the book first...

Oh alright. Thought you were saying it was gory/disturbing until you saw Irréversible.

Back to the Future - 9/10 - Still awesome.

Back to the Future: Part 2 - 8.5/10 - Still awesome. :D

The Anchorman - 8/10 - Pretty funny movie :)

The Day After Tomorrow - 8/10 - I like it, love the story. Effects were cool too.

Oh, I did find Hostel to be gory and somewhat disturbing, there's certainly worse, but this is one alot of people have seen recently.

Raiders of the Lost Ark - 10/10

Never seem to lose it's impact.

Das Boot - 9.5/10

An absolute class film - I can't believe I didn't see it earlier. Unfortunately it was the dubbed version though.
