V For Vendetta - 8.5/10

Nothing hugely special, but I liked it. V was awesome :)

Monster House - 8/10

A great underrated film with unbelievable graphics ... Story gets a bit silly at the end but you've got to laugh, it's definately worth watching.

Then why have you given it almost 4 and a half stars?
I meant it wasn't awesome to the point of standing out in any great way, it was just really cool (IMO) and succeded at what it tried to do. Probably closer to a 4/5 if you wanna go by stars, but there's a different connotation there.

Or maybe I've just been reading too many game reviews... they seem to be alot more generous with games that just "succeed" without doing anything really special.

Snakes on a Plane- 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000/10

SNAKES ON A PLANE - 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999/10

Undeniably the greatest movie ever made. It will be almost impossible to top. It deserves every Academy Award possible, including some new awards, like Best Movie Ever, and Best Snake (on a plane).

Seriously, watch this movie and bask in it's brilliance.

Nacho libre - 4/10

Bad to be honest :\ On the plus side, Ana de la Reguera is beautiful. And that song that plays at the beginning and the credits is pretty cool.

Ultraviolet - 0/10

probably the worst movie I've ever seen, no substance, stupidity, bad acting, bad dialog, idiotic, crap cgi, bad blurry/smooth effect on people. Just god damn dumb. I couldn't sit through all of it, it makes Uwe Boll look like a genius

There were snakes. And they were on the plane. 8.5/10

Sam Jackson first used a taser and a pistol, which were okay. Then he pulls out the FLAMETHROWER. Then he pulls out the motherf***ing HARPOON GUN! Also, in many ways the "Snakes on crack" phrase was the equal of the most famous verse.

United 93 - 10/10

(From the other thread)
I just got home from watching it, and I gotta tell you, that was the first movie that moved me to tears in a long, long time. It was powerful, horrible and sad. It had nothing of that Hollywood crap that you see a lot of these days; it was death, plain and simple death and tragedy. This movie was terrible and suberb. Best movie of the year!

Snakes > Terrorists

Snakes on a Plane

10/10 first viewing

14/10 second viewing

United 93 didn't have Keenan to land the plane for them.

Snakes on a Plane - 3/10...

Sorry, I like good movies...
I walked out when I saw the cgi snakes. :|

Even if it was made to be shit on purpose, I can't stand sitting through a 1 hour and 40 minutes of garbage.

I haven't seen Snakes on a Plane yet, so I can't comment on that. But what I loved about United 93 was it's realism. I doubt Snakes on a Plane live up to that.

A Scanner Darkly - 8.8/10

A great looking film for the eyes and a psychological twist for the mind, but it leaves you wanting something more.

Yes, since Snakes on a Plane is one big metaphor for terrorism today.

Snakes on a Plane!

Absolutely bonkers. No way to classify it. I did really enjoy it.

My verdict:
Snakes/10

Zathura - 7.5/10...
Great movie, was really fun to watch.
More movies in the same vein as Jumanji would be nice. D:

Hostel.... 2/10

Rubbish, and it wasn't even near as gory as I expected. Don't believe the hype.

Red Eye - 7/10...
Nice thriller, got a bit dull in some spots... and others just made no sense at all.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - 8/10...
Tim Burton strikes again!

Snakes on a Plane (Rewatched, this time with friends and bit of alcohol.) - 7.5/10...
Motherfucking funneh.
It was really a fun watch, me and my pals pretty much caused the rest of the theatre to join in on the fun of screaming 'motherf*cking snakes'... whenever we saw a snake.

It was quite a roar.

Eraserhead- WTF/10.

AMAZING movie, but really, WTF?

It's about his fears of being a father.

Broken Flowers 8.8/10
Jim Jarmusch directs another excellent movie. Reminded me of his first movies, only instead of 20-something hipsters, you got 40 and 50 somethings.
